The place was clean. Staff was nice. Room was good. But the room heater air-conditioner sounded like a rock grinder. Hard to get a decent nights sleep, especially when thats why you are there. Was told that many of the units were aging out this way. So since its a known problem, i wont be staying at this location ever again.

Wonderful staff. Obviously the property is in difficult times with signs everywhere indicating that various items were not working or no longer offered. And being next to the Police Station certainly is of value to the hotel in that lonely place.

The young man at the front desk … very personable and helpful. The 1st room we checked in had a toilet that would not flush. He quickly moved us to a similar room and met us at the room to help us move our luggage. He went above and beyond. Thank you!

The chlorine was stinking up the entire hotel. So we didnt even try it the one night we stayed. I had booked an entire week. We let the staff know we wanted our money back black mold in the shower bed hard as a rock. I will never go there again id rather camp out

We have stayed at this property multiple annually for EKU homecoming, the previous 2 years we stayed else where. Decided to come back to this property this year. Looks like the rooms have been let go, roaches, no breakfast, tub was dirty, staff was not friendly. And the drama on across the hall was ridiculous throughout the night, and staff did NOTHING about it. Sad to see this property decline. It’s always been a favorite location. To top it off when I checked out, FOUR employees behind the counter not one acknowledged my presence.

There was hair hanging from a he ceiling in the hallway. Floors were sticky in the room. Couch was falling apart. Paint was chipping off walls around window. Bar sink dirty. Window seals were busted. Room smelled of mold and hallway smelled of weed. Breakfast is not available at this location anymore but honestly even if it was I wouldn’t have eaten it for fear it would have been prepared in a dirty kitchen.

Nasty roach hotel

The room smelled , there was no remote for the tv . The bathroom was the size of a closet and to top it all off we found roaches in our room ! The staff acted like it was an everyday thing … that’s a health code violation! Not ok with roaches in our room .

When we got to our room it smelled of straight chlorine. I have to young kida that do not need ro smell that all night. Then we noticed crumbs and food all over the floor. The toilet paper was used (not a nee roll). We bought a suit as well with a pull out couch that had not been clean in years it seems. We to front desk and Dylan was the most kind person! He tried everything he could to help us! But he also could not provide more towles than the two in the room provided as he had no access. I was not the only one to ask this either. Again we booked for 4 people to stay and only 2 towels with no access to more. The towels we did have were stained with black something. The sheets had a red stain that looked like blood. We ended up checking out as a mom i could not allow my children in that enviornement. But again, Dylan at the front was awesome to speak to when he tried to help in every way possible.
