Standouts were the staff, Chas my concierge greeted us at the door, handled our bags, placed them in the room, got us ice, and made sure our needs were met, Ketunde the receptionist was in training, yet she was exceptionally professional and welcoming, easy conversation making us feel at home, the host, and our waiters at the lounge were also very welcoming, and friendly with excellent service and attentiveness, the valets were really sweet, opened doors, made sure the car was nice and toasty when we got inside. Our Queen suite with two Queen beds, a huge bathrooom complete with a luxurious tub, separate huge closet and working area with desk and chair was beyond our expectations. Historic elegance meets modern comforts. You can’t go wrong staying at the Jefferson if you would like to be spoiled and pampered.

Our stay at The Jefferson in Richmond was simply wonderful. From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The hotel amenities are exceptional, the atmosphere is elegant and welcoming, and the attention to detail truly stands out. The restaurant was outstanding, and breakfast was absolutely delicious — one of the highlights of our stay. Every detail contributed to an unforgettable experience. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay and would absolutely return.

The room was spotless, and beautifully decorated.I loved that my room had a double sink in the bathroom, and the bathroom supplies were fuuy stocked for two persons, with extras. The staff was very pleasant, from the valet to front desk. I didn't get to tour the facility as much as I would have loved to, but the bits i were stunning. I hoped to go back very soon. I would give it a 5 stars for the stay, and the overall experience. I will rate the on property restaurants separately.

The Jefferson Hotel is outstanding. But at Christmas time, the food service options for guests are terrible. The lunch service and evening dining service options were not available during our three day stay. Reservations had been fully booked, "for the last six months" and the hotel did not provide guests any other options except purchasing drinks and crackers from the gift shop for lunch and limited seating and a limited menu in the bar for dinner. "A" plus for the hotel; "F" for food service for guests at Christmas time.
