Dear, This is a formal complaint regarding my stay at this hotel with my husband John Koenig. From the first night, the air conditioning in our room did not work properly, which resulted in a terrible night's sleep. We request Maintenance, but the problem persisted. Then, I was given the option to see another room, but the situation remained the same: the air conditioning did not work properly in the two rooms offered, I was relocated again to a third roomWhere the A/C worked a Little better than all the others. However, this room was visibly inferior to what I had booked: the bed is smaller, the room is smaller and the closet is also significantly reduced. In addition, the bathroom has no space inside the shower area to put our items and everything was scattered on the floor. This change represented a clear loss of comfort and does not meet the expectations or conditions of the reservation I made. with my husband, who is American, and our goal was to experience and show the best of Rio de Janeiro. Unfortunately, the experience with the hosting was frustrating and does not match the expected standard. Both my husband and I are wondering if this represents the best that this hotel in Rio de Janeiro has to offer. We shouldn't have faced this kind of problem during our long-awaited vacation in RJ. We are very unhappy, because in addition to the inconvenience caused by room changes, we did not have an effective solution. We were extremely pleased with the exceptional service of

Nice hotel on Copacabana Beach. Very helpful staff, good facilities only real downside was the air conditioning was not working in 35c heat, fortunately could open the balcony window.. breakfast was rather frantic as the hotel was busy and couldn’t face it again the next morning despite being included with the room. Overall, a good hotel conveniently located on the beach.

My room did overlook a portion of the beach. The breakfast was excellent and diversified. The room was spacious and clean. The majority of the staff, including Igor, and Moicir were very friendly and accomodating. The only problem that kept me from giving this hotel a 5 star review, was Humberto, the receptionist from Peru who was a real jerk and did not fit the overall friendliness of the hotel. , Larry Carli, California USA.

We received our room and found that the bed had a hole in it. We reported the issue and were moved to another room, but unfortunately, that bed was also somewhat deformed. The bathroom door would get stuck and couldn’t be fully opened, which was quite inconvenient. We had specifically requested a room with an ocean view, but we were given a completely different one — the view was unpleasant, and there was a large net hanging from the top of the building that obstructed it. The television didn’t work; although we reported it immediately, it was only checked on the 7th day of our 11-day stay. The minibar worked inconsistently — one day it was fine, the next day it was full of water leaking onto the floor. For several days, housekeeping didn’t clean the room, and when they did, it was done poorly — underneath the bed was extremely dirty. At breakfast, the kitchen staff often seemed in a bad mood, service was very slow, and the buffet was exactly the same every single day. Overall, I’m disappointed with the experience, as the hotel is quite old and does not match the price charged.

Stayed in Premium Suite, the view was amazing, bed was super comfortable but these is lack of maintenance with doors between room and bathroom not sliding, balcony doors don't lock at all, air conditioning very noisy and not always works as selected, mini bar very pricey when it should be a perk on the suite due to the high price tag of the room, parking only available as a valet which wasn't a big issue but again when staying in a 2k suite you expect to be treated or have some of the facilities added to your experience... VIP breakfast for premium suite customers it's very poor in choice so we end up using the main breakfast instead.
