Great location.

This cottage is a breath of fresh air! It was just what we needed to restore us. Beautiful views of the marsh and ocean. I loved waking up to those views each day from the bedroom! We sat and watched so many birds and the tide change each day from the upstairs balcony. My teens had a wonderful time. This was their third visit to the cottage while growing up and it is their favorite place they’ve ever stayed. This trip was a graduation present to my son (this very cottage is where he asked to stay again and it’s the reason we came to Lubec). Even though we’ve only stayed 3 times over the years (due to distance from NC) our favorite family memories have been made here!! The cottage is perfect for nature lovers. It is well stocked with everything you need for an enjoyable and relaxing time and perfectly situated near great hiking at West Quoddy, Boots Cove Preserve, Cutler, Cobscook Trails and Campobello. We’ve enjoyed all. Catherine is a wonderful host. Kind and thoughtful. She left a great welcome bag as well:) The grounds of the cottage are beautiful with blooming flowers and nice touches. We were excited to see the new addition of a patio and lounge chairs outside of the art studio. The view from these chairs is beautiful. All 4 of us sat there many hours reading and drawing and looking out into the marsh. We used the grill and ate on the deck and the grill was clean and in great condition. The cottage has a cozy and relaxed feeling. It’s a special place indeed!!

We loved this place on Orange Lake. Such a cute cabin and relaxing. The living area looked out onto the lake and the kitchen were incredibly well stocked with everything we needed and then some. We spent an evening by the fire pit staring at the lake at sunset; they provided ample firewood. Patsy and Ken were great, responsive hosts. This was the first leg of our trip through Maine, and by the end, we were wishing we’d spent two more days at the Orange Lake cabin.

Jamie and Damon provided everything to make this stay enjoyable. They even provided firewood for the outdoor pit and ingredients for smores!!! What a beautiful, tranquil spot, close to walking trails and the beach. Would highly recommend for your vacation!

Our room had a nice water view. I especially enjoyed visiting the nearby beach/boat launch/ picnic area. Lots of sea glass!

Great place to stay! Josh and his family were extremely inviting and helpful.
