Great hotel close to the train and good resturants

Our stay was great! The front staff that greeted us when we arrived was super friendly and gave us our room early. Was great to have a elevator, it was small but efficient and fit 2 adults and all our luggage. Room has a nice little balcony with a great view of the street but was quiet when the doors were closed. House keeping came every day to clean and replenish coffee, towels etc Everything was great!

We stayed at Nazionale51 for the last two nights in Rome on our two week long trip to Italy and it was the best hotel of our trip. Spacious room with a small balcony overseeing busy via Nazionale, there’s a lift that could fit 2 adults with 2 large suitcases. About a 10-15 minute walk from Roma Termino station. The only thing was the room did get a bit humid and we couldn’t figure out how to dry our clothes because the bathroom stayed pretty damp. But it was the best shower (great water pressure) & a nice big bed. I was also able to get some work done at the small desk and read by the bed. Both Marco and the other front desk man were very helpful and nice. Would recommend!

Staff was very nice when we checked in. However, we did not have hot water for two nights for both of our rooms. Apparently the water heater had some problem. We could not take a shower or do any kind of washing with hot water. The staff did not contact us about it even though they knew about the problem. They also did not respond to my email inquiry through Expedia. I understand that equipment sometimes go bad. But the fact that they did not try to resolve the problem for us was disappointing. Having hot water is one of the most basic requirements in a hotel room. They failed that and didn’t try to mitigate it.

Nazionale 51 - Group was great! It has an excellent location, just a 10-minute walk from Termini Station in Rome. The place was very clean and even provided slippers, toothbrushes, and toothpaste. The only issue was that the hot water in the shower ran out after 10 minutes, so if you're two people, plan to split the time. They were very accommodating with storing our luggage after check-out, allowing us to explore the city without carrying everything around.
