The hotel has an excellent location — just steps from shops, cafés, and restaurants, which made it very convenient. My room was comfortable and spacious, and overall the stay was pleasant. I didn’t like that food and drinks are purchased through machines using a credit card, with no staff around, which made the experience feel less personal and welcoming.

Very fortunate to have chosen The James Hotel in Rotterdam- it’s perfect . The hotel itself is excellent - rooms are so clean and well maintained and amenities on level 2 (a lounge and Self-serving food shop) are of a very high standard . The staff are ever so friendly and there to assist you 24/7 The hotel’s location is situated perfectly between walkable site-seeing options or via close-by trams, to having many shops and restaurants just around the corner. Overall - I strongly recommend this hotel as their room prices offer very good value for money imho. If I come back to Rotterdam- this is where I will be staying ! 5 stars

Room, a double bed, was nice, modern and spacious. Clean hotel, very centrally located, walking distance to Central Station and Erasmus Bridge. Nice 24 hour convenience Foodhall store on 2nd Fl for food items and sundries (no cash payment, credit card machine only), spacious lounge area attached to it. Has wifi, mini fridge and Aircon with cooling/heating. Bathroom reasonably well configured and equipped. Cons: minor. Tiny espresso cups in room, not good enough for tea - can wing some paper cups from 2nd floor Foodhall as workaround. No iron and ironing board in room,but hotel can lend on request. Spare plug near writing desk would be of help. As would usb ports there and at beside tables.

Was charged with a 30 euro fee that we werent told about when booking, then a 100 euro deposit which is outragous. that alone, as soon as we walk in was enough to ruin my expectations. Then we were told we can have any guests in the rooms which made it worse. The quality of the rooms and lounge were good but the beds were awful. Cheap foam ontop of two beds put together made it so you always fell in the middle and we kept waking up in pain. there was also a thick layer of dust on the bed headboard but clean other than that.

Great hotel, really friendly and helpful staff, and a nice central location. Don't be put off by the slightly uninspiring appearance from outside (and the tiny door from the street!) as it's really lovely inside. I wish it had a restaurant, but there are so many around that it's not a problem. I was on one of the low floors and barely noticed the traffic noise at all. Would definitely come back and stay again!

Ghe hotel had no atmosphere considering it was during North Sea Jazz weekend aalot of guest were staying at the hotel. TV and telephone in room did not work and despite reporting it , it was not fixed during our stay. Badly trained reception staff not knowing hiw to greet guests on arrival. No breakfast ootion and limited ' market' to purchase snacks. A charge placed on credit card to cover damage at check in whuch we were not advised about and this us still showing as pending on my card. would not recommend. And woukd stay there again.

WTC 회의 참석차 5박하였으며, WTC의 접근성이 매우 우수하고, 주변 호텔 중 가장 새 건물 호텔인 것 같습니다. 같이 방문한 다른 사람들이 이 호텔 투숙을 부러워할 정도였습니다. 11층에 투숙하였는데, 주변 건물로 뷰가 막혔는데, 16층(1601호)에 투숙한 친구방에 가보니 전체 도시뷰가 보이는 장점이 있었습니다. 방 시설은 전반적으로 깨끗하고 만족스러웠습니다. LAVAZA 커피머신과 캡슐커피 제공도 또하나의 행복이었습니다.

This is the 10th time I stayed at The James hotel. Best price for a hotel in the centre of Rotterdam. Very clean, friendly, professional service. Spacious room, nice bed, bedding and pilllows. Situated between the Lijnbaan en de Coolsingel. Everything is within walking distance. TV connection could use some improvement. A lot of connecting/buffering.

Great location , very professional and friendly staff that provided caring and attentive arrangements. Walking distance to most point of interest and central station. Restaurant options nearby is decent. Room was kindly upgraded which was clean and decent. Works are ongoing next door, although facing part of the ongoing works but it isn't that noisy in the morning that would have waken us up. Probably putting the curtains down would be good enough if you are concerned with privacy. I would recommend a stay here.

The location is great within a couple of blocks of 3 tram and 1 Metro station and local area is full of safe walkable streets with shops, food and bars. Front desk staff are amazing at providing local guidance. Couple of quirks…..no cloth hanging closets in the rooms and no USB for international travellers. AC is great as was there during a 35C heatwave

Location location location! 10 minute walk from the central station, and a 20 minute walk to the cruise terminal! Perfect location for a short stay when getting on a cruise. Add to this a room that is comfy, a nice size and spotless clean. Comfy bed with nice linens, a modern spacious bathroom with a large shower and loads of hot water. Hotel was pretty damned impressive, then add the smiling faces of the friendly staff who were ever eager tor please. Our stay face exceeded our expectations!
