Really great 4 night stay, it needs a revamp which is under way, but the metro is over the road, the Quays a 10 minute walk away with a choice of restaurants, the Lowry and Iwm North, Central Manchester 3 stops away. The staff were really good, room clean, check in swift and friendly, would stay again with no hesitation

Breakfast was fresh and good selection of hot and cold buffet. Room was clean but needs updating, not very child friendly - bedside tables worn and some sharp corners and on table. Mattress quite hard and could hesr tje noise outside all night. Our room was messed up, given the wrong key and ended up.in someone elses room! Plus side all the stagg were really friendly and helpful!

I use a mobility scooter, and when arriving we found that there is no curb cut to get from the pavement to the front door. I had to turn back, use the crossing on the corner to get onto the road and follow it round to the door. Happily, the manager (I'm assuming, sorry, I forgot to catch your name or position title) happened to be arriving at that moment and saw the issue. I got the impression that he hadn't been at this hotel for very long, and is in the middle of making improvements. He said he would get something done about it as quick as possible. Not helpful for my stay, but good for future disabled guests.

Desperately needs refurb

Very tired and disappointing room in desperate need of a refurb. Shower leaked and eventually couldn’t be turned off at all. Great location for me but that’s all

Hotel rooms are still dated but it was clean. New carpet is nice. Some lamps didn’t work and found used socks in a corner. Need some instructions on TV. Was there room service? No information at all in room. Wifi should be password protected.

Having visited on numerous occasions, namely to watch the grand final, I have noticed that the standard of the rooms allocated has deteriorated over the years, the reveption area and bar area are good, but waiting for 45 minutes to get served on the Saturday evening was not great, and the car park area is laughable, with so many persons booked in to watch the match at old Trafford and mainly coming in cars, to hear from the reception staff have hired out some of the spaces for just parking, whe people are parking illegally in the car park area, it was chocker block, it’s a wonder some car damage was forth coming.

First time using. Dated hotel but free parking in Salford which is rare. Wonderful warm welcome. Room was comfy although very 1980s type decor. Decent bedding. Did not try restaurant but breakfast rather limited and very basic
