Liked: Cleanliness
Hotel clean but out of date.
The hotel was a bit dated. Club room nothing special. Mentioned mini bar and drinks from bar. 2 bottles of water and 2 cans of sprite in mini bar. 2 drinks for entire stay for us. Not 2 per night. Shower over bath very dated. I questioned receptionist as we only had one robe and one pair of slippers and she shrugged and checked we were down as a 2 booking. Not that we would have used them as not the nicest. Breakfast was ok. Very friendly staff in there. Nice choices although typical breakfast buffet. Wouldn’t stay again. Nice location for our needs but not worth the money.

Liked: Staff & service
Overview of my stay .
The staff team from reception, bar, restaurant and domestics are friendly and helpful. The food is good value for money and enjoyable.
There is a notice to inform guests that the rooms are being renovated. This is needed. Notification to guests who are staying about the keycard, not working after checkout would be helpful. Especially for those staying more than one night.
The bed however, was very comfortable.
Great experience all round. Lovely staff, handy parking and lovely room. We would use the hotel again.

Mostly Good Stay
The area is lovely, great for talking, nice restaurants. The hotel needs urgent furniture updating. I believe they have started with new, large TVs but desk etc. looked super shabby. It would be a lovely hotel after a decent update. Overall good stay, great breakfast and very friendly breakfast staff. Reception was on arrival little welcoming, asked for 20 Euro for 'early' check in (about 12:30)... we went for lunch instead and returned at 15:00. Other hotels are so kind after a long travel to provide a room earlier when ready. Bit of a downer. We got a room with lake view later which made up for the wait at least. We traveled on the tram all the time which was great and in walking distance!
Hotel is good location and dated but comfortable we had an issue whilst there I only purchased one item from the bar for £6.90 and on return home noticed £69.90 had come out of my bank I phoned them straight away to explain thinking this would be a simple refund and after 4 weeks and 5 different people on the phone over long periods I am still waiting for my refund so be careful when using cards to pay this may well be a one off but rather mention than someone else get caught .
Have a real soft spot for this hotel, a regular stay for when we bring our daughter back to Uni or come to visit, lovely friendly staff and great breakfast!
It was the worst hotel I've stay at in Manchester. It was supposed to be 4 star but it's not. Does not keep up standards as the other Millennium hotels.
Really bad.
Dont ever book and stay here. You will be totally disappointed.
