I had a wonderful experience at Hilton Garden Inn Salt Lake City Downtown. After a stressful encounter at another hotel, staying here was a huge relief. The front desk staff were professional, kind, and welcoming from the moment I arrived. The room was spotless, comfortable, and well-maintained — everything I needed for a relaxing stay. What stood out the most was the hospitality. In particular, Daudie, who works at the bar in the lobby, was incredibly friendly, warm, and attentive. She made me feel right at home and truly added a personal touch to my stay. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Salt Lake City.

we had a wonderful time at this hotel. Staff were great (especially Cory, who was friendly and very helpful). The room was comfortable. Parking was good and we had great access to downtown attractions. The Starbucks next door was also a plus.

Noisy, expensive

Most noisy hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Dog barking across hall, guy in hall using f word slamming doors in the middle of the night. Kids in wet swimming suits climbing all over the gym equipment. And had to pay $10 a night to park my car at the hotel?? Will not stay there again. Definitely was not worth almost $300 a night!

Great for Volleyball Tournaments

We were in town for a Volleyball tournament. The location was within a mile of the Salt Palace which gave us the ability to walk to the venue. Our room was clean and had a fridge and microwave. The front desk staff was very welcoming.

We only stayed one night, and were not disappointed. The indoor pool and hot tub were nice and clean, everything in the hotel looked clean and relatively new. The breakfast was optional, but it was available and the food was good. Nearby Thai restaurant is also a definite plus. The location served well the purpose of our stay which was to connect the school break in Utah national parks with the flight home via SLC.
