First impression was terrible, everything was great when we checked in but the moment we opened the door to our room the smell of an outhouse was instant. I couldnt breath in the room, I'm not sure what went wrong. It appeared clean but stench was foul. I went to front desk and requested a room change. The lady was very kind and accommodating, you could she was appalled when I explained. The new room was a relief, no bad smell and it was clean. Very glad they changed room otherwise I would have slept in the car.

My Place Hotel

My Place Hotel was great and felt very homey. I was very happy with the hotel it was clean and comfortable. The receptionists were not very friendly ( they were not mean or rude but did not smiles) the weather was cold and it even snowed but inside the room it was very warm and cozy. I really enjoyed my stay. I will definitely go back to this hotel on my next visit to Salt Lake City. Also the hotel was really close to stores and restaurants which was a plus for me.

Clean, comfortable but don't ask for a wash cloth

Well, there were three of us, and we only got two wash cloths. So, after checking in and going to family activities, when we came in at 10pm at night, we asked for another one or two. We were refused because they don't give out extras. When I told them we were short upon entering, the lady at the desk said she couldn't because they were all in the washing machine. At 10 pm at night?! Really? I was not impressed. Also there was nothing in the cupboards except a toaster. So you'd better bring your own serviceware in order to use the kitchen. On the flip side, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and we had no issues.
