This was a great historic hotel close to The Alamo! It was walkable to almost everything, including the Riverwalk. Will visit again.

We were there Thursday till Sunday. In Saturday night out neighbors next to us were smoking weed. The smell came into our room. We did complain and police were call but nothing else was done. Mind you I have small children inhaling the smell. They offered us 2 rooms with standard beds since that all that was left but declined because I wasn’t going to allow my 10 year old and 8 year old to sleep alone in a room. I asked for a refund for at least one of the night and the hotel and expidia refused to.

Great Trip!

Had such a great stay and great first time in Texas! The staff was so friendly and attentive (especially Eduardo at the front desk), the hotel was in the perfect location, and the food was great. I can’t wait to be back in Texas and to stay here again!

Flashing lights

Had flashing lights coming thru our window from street light all night long . It was reflecting on our room wall all night long . Other than that everything else was ok. Lights next to room kept flickering a lot As well.

The hotel is very old but quite beautiful. The lobby area smells amazing. The rooms are old but clean. I really enjoyed my stay as it was within walking distance to downtown and the river walk. Definitely would recommend it
