Never heard or stayed at one before now but Drury Inn and Suites was a real surprise... right on the river, convenient to all downtown stuff, and the evening snack and drink hour were great and a real value.

Room smelled, all rugs on property need to be cleaned, bathroom doors are in rough shape and areas around light switches needs to be properly cleaned. Curtains also need a good washing, and the last visitor left a glass full of cherries in the fridge that was not cleaned up. Also needs more extermination as we had a visitor in the room, left propriety immediately after that sighting. Location has great potential as we stayed here before at the other location on the Riverwalk, front desk was very accommodating and thoughtful.

I have always trusted Drury’s Inn for its quality and good service. I have to say this is the worst that I have ever stayed in. The rooms are outdated. The carpet is worn and looks dirty. The bathroom was so small that you have to step aside to close the door to use the facilities. They say they will change their line every day. They do not, we were there for four days and they only changed it twice. The staff was about as helpful and uninformed as I could find. I think we knew more about what was going on around us than they did. I checked out hotels near where we were and found many were much much more friendly and the rooms were gorgeous. I would never return to this facility in any means. if you do, good luck and I can tell you now that you’re not getting what they’re saying. From now on I will question whether they are the type of hotel I would want to stay at. Hotel business is very competitive and I thought drury inn would have figured that out. I will not return. It is aLao not the friendliest for handicap people. Only 2 things were good…parking garage attached to each floor for easy room access and the morning breakfast.

Unexpected Surprise

First time here. Loved this hotel. Staff courteous and eager to help. Daily housekeeping a nice bonus. Our king suite was large and nicely appointed. Bed and pillows very comfortable. Room was dark and quiet. Perfect for sleeping. Breakfast was typical hotel fare but food stations were spread out which alleviated the crowdedness. Nightly Manager’s kickback (dinner and cocktails) was an unexpected surprise! Location was great; right on the Riverwalk. Would highly recommend for visitors to the San Antonio area.

The property is wonderful, but the staff is exceptional. Everyone was friendly and helpful right down to the housekeepers. A reflection on the emphasis on hiring quality people and investing in their training.

Lovely time

Beautiful, clean, comfortable. The fridge had an issue but was replaced immediately. The breakfast & take-a-break food were great. We lived the location. Loved that the windows opened up to the river walk. Would love to stay again.
