Nice but pool service and food eh

So only issue was this suite was so far away from amenties. Then the issue with the pools there were never enough towels. Then they closed the outdoor pool for what ever reason but it wasn’t really needed. Then there were so many ppl in the indoor pool it was extremely over crowded.

Go to breakfast early

Stay was good but breakfast was disappointing. If you offer breakfast until 10 then offer it until 10. We got there around 935 and there was no sausage, no oatmeal & no eggs. Employees were more focused on breaking the food down than keeping it stocked. One of the main reasons I decided to stay here was the additional value driven by happy hour and breakfast. Might have to reconsider next time.

Weekend get away

My children and I stayed in the Drury Plaza San Antonio over the weekend as a short get away. This was my 3rd time staying here, but not with my children. They loved the place, the rooms are clean, the bed was comfortable and the room was quiet. The AC can be set up to your likings, the staff is very friendly. Tristan over in the dinning room was very accommodating. Thanks to Vanessa, so helpful

Could improve.

No privacy locks on entree door or bathroom door. No circulation vent in bathroom either so after I took a big poop the stench lingered for a while. The room was quite small I stayed in room #817. The A/C vent duct in the bathroom was extremely dirty as well, you could visibly see the collection of dust/lint. As for the pros, the hotel vallet service ($39 per night) was extremely convenient & helpful, staff was always very friendly and polite. Location of hotel was convenient super close to Riverwalk.

The hotel is very well located, close to the best part of the river and good restaurants. The breakfast and happy hour included were nice, and the staff were friendly and ready to help with anything we needed!

Being that it was going to be hot, we canceled a room at the Hilton Canopy because they didn’t have a pool and the Drury did. The hotels were the same price. The pool is much smaller than depicted in creative photos online, and was overrun with kids. There is also not a restaurant that you can order from, just the free buffets that are low quality.
