Hotel right across from the Alamo and very close to Riverwalk, shops and restaurants. Valet service very convenient and friendly. My only negative was breakfast was said to be from 7:00 am to 10:00 am, arrived at 9:10 and was told nothing else would be brought out, many people found nothing and crew began cleaning up at 9:20.

View was unique if on higher levels, pets are 75.00 per stay, but no amenities or area for them. No microwave, pool, restaurant, bar,bathtub . Construction early morning and all day. Its very expensive for being rather plain. I would not recommend it.

Lo unico que no me gusto es que el cuarto estaba sucio, las sabanas sucias y el baño tambien. Le pedi a la que limpia los cuartos que me diera todo limpio, estaban muy sucias las sabanas y cobijas. Y en el baño encontre basura que no era mia.

First issue was someone’s curly hair all over the top blanket of one of the beds. Then when we pulled the sheets back, the bottom sheet was dirty. Found a pair of men’s underwear (not ours) by the window when I opened the curtains this morning to let some sun in. Shower was filthy and door didn’t shut all the way so bathroom floor got really wet. Smoke detector beeped all night long so please replace batteries. I’m not one to complain but dang, the complaint list was big here. Only spoke with night front desk and morning front desk. Manager was still not in on a holiday Monday morning before we checked out after 10:30am

This hotel was okay. It was clean, but the staff weren’t very friendly and the rooms are SO TINY. We understood that the rooms may be smaller since it’s a small building but there is barely enough room to walk around the bed. There is also only paid parking. And parking is around $45 a day, which is very inconvenient and we didn’t feel like it was a good area so we were constantly worried about our vehicles being broken into. The hotel is a good walking distance from the river walk and Alamo though.

Construction by the Alamo and next building so there was not a view to enjoy. Tv cable issues most of the time in the evenings. Mattress in our room very uncomfortable and no support. Hotel gave an adjustment but we will not be staying here next time.

It's a historic hotel that's right across the street from the Alamo and a couple short blocks from the Riverwalk. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was substantial with many options for everyone. We enjoyed our stay here.

Highly recommend!

The ladies working at the desk were so accommodating! They were able to give us an early check in without an additional fee, helped us figure out parking, provided area information, etc.
