The hotel was in a perfect spot—very walkable to the Riverwalk and great dining options. Room was very clean, comfortable, and quiet. Staff was extremely welcoming and helpful. Hot breakfast was a pleasant surprise with several good choices. Only negatives: the bathroom (toilet & shower) was quite small and a bit awkward to move around in, and the elevators were slow due to high weekend traffic, so we took the stairs from the 5th floor often. Despite that, we had a great experience and would recommend this hotel to others!

Wonderful stay...however.

The hotel was great, staff great, the only thing that was frustrating were the elevators. They were sooooo slow. Besides that, we had a wonderful stay. The location was perfect and overall experience was spot on:)

Review: Hyatt Place Riverwalk – San Antonio

Our stay was a short one, but definitely comfortable. The hotel offers complimentary breakfast from 6:30 AM to 9:30 AM, and to my surprise, it was quite delicious! They had ready-to-serve oatmeal with a variety of toppings on the side, along with bagels, toast, cream cheese, butter, several cereals, and both plain and oat milk to choose from. They also didn’t disappoint with fresh-cut fruit, yogurt, and more tasty toppings. The hot items included fluffy scrambled eggs, shoulder bacon, sausage links, and waffles with maple syrup. And of course—the coffee! The coffee bar had regular, decaf, and even chamomile tea for those avoiding caffeine. Parking? Since it’s downtown, most nearby lots charge a fee. The hotel’s parking rate was $25 per night. While I understand this goes toward maintenance and 24/7 security (including barricades for lot access), I still found the daily fee a bit steep. The staff was extremely attentive—from the front desk to housekeeping. Our room was spacious and the beds? Super comfortable! I slept so well, I didn’t even hear the thunderstorm outside that night. The furniture was clean and thoughtfully arranged, with plenty of compartments for clothes and bags, which made unpacking a breeze Overall, my parents and I were pleased with our stay. While the parking fee felt a bit high, everything else—from the breakfast to the comfort of the room—made it a memorable and restful trip.

The room was clea, comfortable and most important of all quiet have a nice view of the city skyline and River Walk. For a hotel not being directly in downtown The view was more than I had hoped for it and being able to walk directly onto the Riverwalk and access the whole city without the need of your car was amazing.

It was very nice from the moment we walked in. It smelled great, the front desk staff were friendly and explained things well. The riverwalk access was nice. Very peaceful to walk around without the hustle and bustle of large crowds. Breakfast was great and they kept it coming when things ran low. We will definitely stay here again.
