Check in was terrible. Clerk was in such a bad mood and had horrible manners. The A/C of my suite was so crappy. I had to sleep with damn box fan. Not even at my house do I use box fans. Breakfast was the worst I have ever had. Not a single worker around to help with needs or questions. Same food all thru out my stay. Had to go out and buy some breakfast for all of my party of guests. Bathroom door would not lock. One night I was left without towels. Despite having asked for them twice. Had to re use the towrls from previous night. Only good thing from my stay was the Valet staff. They were very attentive and curteous. I would rate the valet 5 stars. But hotel itself a 2 star. Will deffinately NOT BE RETURNING to Sonesta Hotels.

Did like the staff and attitude of the staff , We had to ask for towels the next day and toilet paper which we never got , we didn’t like the pay parking, we tried to cancel and they said it would be a charge if we cancelled the stay. It should have had free cancellation. The property said it wouldn’t be responsible for any damages to our vehicle is something happened in there parking garage.that was the responsibility of the third party. it took too long for the valet to bring the cars around no manager on Site. I wouldn’t stay at that hotel again.

Great stay!!!

Our stay at Sonesta ES in Downtown S.A. was excellent. This is the best hotel we have ever stayed in at this price, by far. Hot breakfast included. We will recommend this hotel to all of our friends and family. the remodel is super nice and it's only a 5 minute walk to the Alamo and just a couple of more minutes to the River walk. We will be back for sure!!!

The parking situation was so bad that we had to cancel our stay and find another hotel last minute. One of the staff members did not offer any kind of solutions to remedy the situation. They kept saying it was out of their hands, and we just had to deal with it. There was no offer to help in any way. Another staff member worked with us and helped us cancel. She at least made it

Great stay. All the staff was great. Had an issue with one of the cabinet doors coming out and they understood that it was due to regular wear and did not charge us like most hotels would have. Valet can take a while during certain times but otherwise they are great also. Room was clean and amenities where better than expected.

Comfortable close and cool

Close to everything, clean, spacious, friendly staff. The breakfast gets really crowded the last hour, go early and it's nice and calm. A/C worked great, beds were comfortable.
