I like this hotel quite a bit, but it needs a bit of upkeep. On this trip (I stay here often), the water filter was not working and the room's refrigerator was loud (I had to unplug it to get some sleep). Otherwise, this is a good place to stay near the airport. The staff are friendly and the place is clean.

Rooms were decent, location was great. But the person behind the desk was clearly trying to scam tourists - told us uber to airport (which is very close) would be $40-50 due to special fees, while taxi would be $20-25, then put pressure on us to have him reserve a taxi for us. When I woke up and checked uber it was $15. I was trying to be polite and just take their taxi, but I luckily checked and asked how much before getting in the car - and he said $35-40! I told him I’d call an uber and he quickly decreased it to $20. In the car he had the uber app running and no taxi meter. Pretty clearly a scam on tourists, not cool.

I always saw someone cleaning, in the hallways or rooms, the front desk and lobby area was also neat and tidy with access to a free coffee and tea station in the front. I even got a free book (they seemed to refill this box in the morning). As for the rooms, it had everything you needed - microwave and fridge already in there, robe and slippers for use, and even refillable water bottles if you forgot yours. The TV had streaming services you can sign into and a record player with some records to complete the vibe. Air conditioning worked well and wasn’t too loud, and apart from the carpet feeling thin - it was really a comfortable stay. would recommend to my family and friends for staying nearby

This was a lovely place to stay for the night before catching the plane home in the morning. It was clean, quiet, and had a nice atmosphere. Definitely preferable to the other, more corporate hotels near the airport. I would stay here again next time I am in San Francisco.
