Entrance to hotel from street was a bit hard to see but liked the long driveway up to reception desk office. I appreciated the guard at entry gate that greeted us. Setting was very nice with an open concept from inside to outside lobby. The garden was beautiful and relaxing. Amenities are slim. No coffee or other drinks are available during off hours. CAFE is only open during specific. So if you want any drinks / coffee at later hours, you must purchase outside Hotel. My room had a heavy humid feel to it. Almost a bit moldy. Used the A/C in efforts to dehumidify. Overall, it was a great find. My observations are my own and not to discourage anyone from staying at Magnolias. The staff was very nice.

We enjoyed the cute little views from the hotel & how comfortable it was. The only issue really was the water pressure in the shower, it was very weak when it was on hot water. Everything else was good!

Las Magnolias tiene una excepción ubicación, es una propiedad pequeña pero con todo lo necesario. La comida es simple pero buena. Lo unico que le faltó fue mas espacio para desempacar especialmente en el baño. Buenas amenidades y gente my amable.

Great area very touristy. Bad thing was the room had a weird smell. No one was present for check in despite me calling the property to let them know i would be checking in a certain time. The security officer checked me in after i called the property. Check out is at 12 pm but when i left at 7am to get coffee the staff member greeted me with a statement that they would clean the room. I informed her no as i am not leaving yet...not friendly staff. The area is walkable and there is a lot of different cuisines close

I wish the hotel was able to give me a refund for the day I wasn't able to use because I missed my flight, but the hotel itself was good. I thoroughly enjoyed my room, which was like a studio apartment. The hotel is also in the one of the major shopping districts of San Salvador. You're right next to a mall, restaurents, and stores - and also within walking distance of a Walmart, believe it or not. The pool is very small (no where near as big as advertised) and so is the gym, which is what you'd expect, but the breakfast is complimentary (you pay $4.50 when you bring a guest, just an FYI), and the staff appeared friendly. For the price I got the hotel for, Las Magnolias was good. I'll likely return.
