The hotel rooms were nice and the property has a great rooftop bar. The location is perfect for exploring the historic district of Santiago. The personel were great in helping us with arranging transportation, direction, and recommendations. Property was safe and clean.

It was across the street from a beautiful municipal park-safe to explore. The room was huge. It was two blocks from the place we needed to meet our bike trip leaders. The food on the rooftop was very good and reasonable as well. Get the smoked sweet potato puree!

My room was on the 7th floor just below an open staircase to the restaurant. There was no soundproofing and noise from the restaurant (until midnight) was very loud.

We enjoyed staying at this hotel and stayed here twice. We especially enjoyed the rooftop bar where we were introduced to Peruvian pisco sours by the excellent waiter Daniel. The downtown Santiago area is becoming quite rundown so we are now tending to stay in the Providencia area. But this hotel is in a good location for walking to downtown tourist sites and there are several good restaurants nearby

The two days/nights we spent in the Hotel Sommelier were absolutely wonderful! The rooms were as nice as the photos. More importantly, the staff were terrifically competent and friendly. Carlos at reception was a welcoming smile. Andrea in the 1st floor restaurant was great. Karina upstairs in Terraza was such a treat! All were kind, professional and just delightful! And the older gentleman at the entrance was extremely helpful, especially as my wife is handicapped. It all added up to a splendid experience in Santiago!

A small boutique hotel with an excellent location. You are only two blocks from Plaza de Armas with the cathedral and national history museum. The other direction you are across the street from the Castillo Hidalgo Park and just a few blocks from a street of artists and many restaurants. The free continental breakfast each day was well prepared. The room was well appointed. Marble stairs wth nice stained glass panels on each landing depicted the wine theme for each floor. The only complaint, and it is a BIG one, was the theoretical air conditioning that blew tepid air at best with temperatures close to 90 degrees each day.

The staff checking us in were very friendly and helpful. Our room was very spacious. Free bottle of wine was a nice touch. We were just below the restaurant so it was a bit loud at night, but we loved our view/balcony so it was worth it!

There 3 issues with the stay. First, one of the outside shutters wouldn’t close, leaving the room lit by the nearby street lamp. Second the AC would not cool the room. Lastly on Sunday evening the main floor & roof top restaurants. Wee both closed, forcing guests to go elsewhere.

Our final few nights in amazing Santiago, the hotel was perfectly located. Easy walk, metro/underground to anywhere in town. I loved the look of the hotel, it’s Santiago! Staff are amazing, they work hard but are beautiful! FYI! My Spanish (being Irish) was Italian! Rooms are comfy, mine was balcony room! Food was great as was service, in all honesty, loved my stay, quirks are quirks, Hotel Sommelier was lovely!

The hotel was very accommodating and we were able to check in early. We really appreciated that after a long flight. We also got our breakfast Togo, because we left early in the morning. So kind. The location was great.
