The location is excellent, one step to river walk and to the Savannah marketplace. But the hotel is old with some remodeling and the mattresses must be replaced, you sink on them, and the back pain is terrible. Breakfast is average, variety of offerings is ok but they seem to be from the day before, like biscuits and hash browns, they were terrible, at least the day I tried them. The attention is very nice, I have no complaints about the personnel, very helpful employees. Very noisy hotel but I don’t mind, about that.

Great location for walking everywhere around the historic district and along the river. Friendly staff and clean, comfortable, spacious rooms. Good breakfast to start the day. We came back at the end of our trip elsewhere as we had really appreciated our first visit.

My daughter and I stayed one night at Best Western in the historic district. The room was clean for the most part. The front door was did not close firmly and shakes when touched. At bottom of the door is not sealed so the cold air comes into the room like escaping air conditioning. If you stand back you can see outside from the bottom of the door. I was told that parking was free today. I received a charge of $36.50 for one night of parking at the hotel. I pay less for that at the airport. I am disputing the charges and are now waiting for someone from the parking company that the hotel claims they have nothing to do with even though they told you to park on the property and scanned the QR code to ensure that your car was not towed. The hotel is very conveniently located and is in walking distance of everything that you will enjoy about Savannah. Lastly, if you’re a light sleeper like I am, this is not the hotel for you. You will not get any sleep with all the traffic passing on that main road on Bay Street in front of the hotel. I don’t think I got two hours of sleep. It was so noisy all night. If you’re in Savannah to party and get drunk and then fall into a coma for sleep, this is the place for you.

I always stay here every time I visit Savannah. It’s near to most of the dining areas and most of the tourisy spots. The staffs are pleasant and accommodating. They just have to change some of the food for the breakfast ‘coz I been eating the same thing every time. Lol! I like the green waffle tho, very much themed with St Patrick’s Day.

Tv was busted in room from a previous guest. Parking was through a third party even though it was made to look like it was paid for at through a deposit at the hotel. Very limited parking. Better plan to eat breakfast elsewhere.

Room needs bathroom fan, needs light switch in the bathroom rather than switch in bedroom, ice in the ice machines, cleaning services every day with fresh towels, real coffee in morning. Biscuits, eggs, grits & gravy excellent! Very friendly workers, polite & agreeable. Key card did not work on pool door. We dumped our trash & dirty towels 3 days out of 4.

I would certainly stay here again. The staff are wonderful. Location is great. The continental breakfast was typical fare and I was so thankful they offered this. Wonderful stay! Note about Expedia!! They are either taken over by scammers or allowing scammers to cheat people on their site. Beware of Infinity Travels. They are cheating people out of hundreds of dollars. If you think you’re talking to Expedia customer service you are NOT! We were cheated when we tried to purchase two plane tickets through Expedia.

Pros: great location, only steps to City Market and River Street; comfortable beds; friendly staff; good breakfast. Cons: noisy, busy area and you can hear all the road noise, bring ear plugs; parking is limited, open, and with no security.

The bathroom was disgusting. The room needs work as well. And the area around this MOTEL is extremely noisy. The halls outside smell like urine. The staff was so slow and didn’t really even say hello. They were all more concerned with thei gossiping and cell phones than they were about checking in guests.
