The Space:

A Perfect Romantic Getaway in one of the countries most magical cities!!

The 1869 original Carriage House is a free standing cottage behind the main house with its own private entrance off the lane/alley.



It is located on the 2nd floor over the garage like all original carriage houses in Savannah, so there is a flight of stairs to get to the 2nd floor home.

The carriage house is where the livery driver lived in the 1800s above the horses and carriages he cared for. The Wedding Cake Carriage House comes with a highly coveted garage parking space.



The unusual design is evocative of a “Manhattan loft” set in a historic 1869 carriage house. This surprise blending of original 1920 - 1940 art deco furnishings and many antique elements creates a fun, casual ambiance.

The open and airy open concept living space showcases an entire wall of frosted artist windows, thus flooding the house with natural light.



The bedroom with king bed and TV is adjacent to the alluring bathroom with luxurious features such as 6 foot air tub and separate marble shower.



The complete kitchen provides everything you need to whip up a Southern style meal or just grab toast and coffee on the way out your door to take in the cities historical sights that you are just steps out your door!



This reservation includes one private, garage parking space.



Guest may use the walled courtyard although it is shared with guests in the Main House.

There is a washer/dryer in the garage for you to use during your stay.

The location was perfect. A short walk to every place we wanted to visit and also quiet and safe at night. The bed was super comfortable, the shower pressure was amazing, and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook and prepare meals. Having a garage made parking a breeze as well. It was a wonderful place to stay and soak in the historical gem that is downtown Savannah.

Loved the place, it was so cute. It was within walking distance to anything you would like to see. Loved that the house had a private garage. The bathroom was very nice, with a separate deep tub. Would definitely recommend. It does have a few stairs but if you can handle the river street stairs these will be easy.

This was the absolute perfect place for my husband and me to stay on our first visit to Savannah! I had looked at various places and settled on this one because of the tub in the bathroom (LOL) and the parking space in the garage! It was exactly as described! Very clean! Excellent location! I was very thankful for the note beside the jetted tub explaining that the jets just randomly turn on from time to time! That definitely would have unnerved us without the warning! We hope to have a longer stay next time!

Just as advertised. Close to everything. Quiet, historic neighborhood. The garage space really helped and was large enough to easily fit a midsize SUV with room to spare (e.g. Palisade; Durango). Would absolutely stay again.

Fabulous location

We couldn’t have asked for a better location, and we were grateful to have garage parking! The bed was very comfortable and my 6’5” husband appreciated the very spacious shower and high ceilings throughout.
