Disappointing Experience Despite Promising Exterior The hotel looks appealing from the outside, but the service and amenities were a letdown. Despite requesting a quiet room, we were placed facing the carpark — and it wasn’t even busy, so accommodating us should’ve been possible. The check-in staff claimed all rooms had great views, which was clearly not the case. Bar service was equally poor. Staff lacked basic customer service skills — no greeting, no smile, and dismissive responses when asked about whisky options or the menu. The room itself was mediocre: broken furniture, a missing drawer, and dirty curtains. The only redeeming features were the pool and steam room. Breakfast was chaotic — a single broken two-slice toaster for the entire restaurant, with staff showing little concern as guests queued in confusion. Overall, the service was appalling and far below acceptable standards.

Comfy bed an room ok. But the food was decidedly average, food at breakfast from the buffet bar was lukewarm at best. On arriving in room there was loud dance music coming from the very close health club ( i could make out the words), when i spoke to reception io was told it would be overy by about 8pm - not to much of an issue as i wanted to eat. Next morning at 7am though was an issue, woke up

However i was very disappointed as the shower did not work as there was very little (a small drip) room 22 and i was then moved to a new room ( room 11)straight away. However, when I went to have a shower in the morning in the new room the shower temperature was either too hot or too cold and i could not have a decent shower for my meeting..

Avoid .. tired, old dirty hotel

Below par, tired and looks dirty. Room was a good size, after I finally got my room that I booked and paid for, only to be told .. sorry we have no availability of that room type, Expedia messed up so I'm afraid there's no room for you. Eventually the manager upgraded the room, but said .. this is a more expensive room, so you should pay more but this time we won't charge you! Wow 😳 No not a good stay and certainly not worth the money.

The room was terrible and we had to be moved. We had room 11 (four poster room). Shower was broken, curtains were unable to be closed and the bath panel was in terrible condition. Avoid this hotel.
