The hotel did not have any hot water. Showers were in the freezing cold water. Fitness room was weak at best. It was in a glorified closest and the elliptical machine was missing the cord so would not even turn on.

There was no consistent hot water during my entire stay. The shower would run warm for about a minute and then turn cold. My son and I had to take cold showers for two days. When I contacted hotel staff, I was told there was nothing they could do. Lack of hot water and the dismissive response from staff made our stay very disappointing. especially during icy storm winter in Michigan.

We love The Bell Tower Hotel. Great location for anything at UofM. The staff are friendly and helpful. The lobby feels like I’m visiting my well-coifed, classy grandmother’s home - complete with delicious fresh baked cookies. The hotel is neat, clean, and very quiet. Absolutely a gem in Ann Arbor!

Nice people. Nice room. Management needs to invest in a new hot water heater though. First morning, 10 degrees outside, no hot water for the shower. Second morning, had to let shower run for 35 minutes before it got warm.

The cleaning staff come and clean the bathroom change towels and make beds everyday adjusting their time to what is convenient to us. Breakfast staff are ready to replenish items and do things not routinely done.

Staff were very nice and very helpful. Can’t say enough about the front desk team. The room was a little worn down and most disappointing was I had planned the room for four people. There was only one queen bed and a pullout sofa that was not made up. I had to call down a couple of times to get that completed when they did. I just got one sheet on it.
