For many years we had a condo diagonally across the Seattle Center, so we knew the area, but not the hotel. I booked a room there because we were attending a graduation ceremony at McCaw Hall and my husband cannot walk very far. We were surprised and pleased with just about everything. Just as I finished checking in, someone drove a UHaul truck through the driveway and broke an overhead sprinkler. Noise and chaos erupted. Water poured out of the sprinkler, and until the fire department arrived, assessed the situation and started to work on a fix. The reception staff acted calmly, politely, and efficiently with the chaos. We parked, but the elevators were still shut down, so we stayed with our suitcases near the lower elevators. My husband went to see when the elevators would be working. Tia found him and came down, got our luggage, and carried both suitcases from the basement up to the third room. She is my hero. The coffee shop was a disappointment. We stopped for breakfast. It was the worst chai latte I’ve ever had. My husband ordered a warm apple scone, but when he opened the sack, it was a warmed chocolate cookie. The seating needs a deep cleaning too. On the whole, I highly recommend this hotel. Dogs are welcome. That’s a bonus.

Our stay is always wonderful! The dog friendliness is why we keep going back! If you have a dog this is the only hotel in Seattle you should stay in. It’s clean and friendly. It also has a bar!

My stay at the Maxwell House Hotel was delightful! The hotel has a cute, cozy vibe, and the little extras made it feel extra special. We loved the complimentary drinks and cookies in the lounge—such a nice touch. The free bikes were also a fantastic perk, making it easy to explore the city. The location couldn’t have been better—super convenient with plenty of great dining options nearby. Whether we wanted a quick bite or a nice sit-down meal, there were tons of choices within walking distance. Definitely recommend Citizen Cafe for brunch and Sugar Bakery for some morning pastries. Overall, a wonderful stay with friendly service and thoughtful amenities. Would definitely recommend!

Very cute and cozy. Located in a quiet neighborhood and yet, within a walking distance to restaurants and shops. They offer a shuttle service (about $12) to the port if you are going on a cruise.
