Still Great Experience but Room Location Not Great

2nd time here… first time with snow! Great location, wonderful staff, beautiful resort. On the downside, room this time showed signs of wear…carpet visibly dirty with few stains, some paint peeling in bathroom. Also - VERY noisy location (room 202) - by stairwell & balcony on front parking lot- and at 8 am cleaning crew in full force starting their shift with banging, loud talking right outside our room. Not sure if room condition and location was tied to our booking through Expedia (still $1500 for 2 nights though so hardly a bargain)

Everything was beautiful and very comfortable. The only minor issue was that noise from the room above us carried to our our ground floor room - everything from walking, doors opening and closing, water running, etc. I explore sound insulation. Luckily guests above us were not obnoxiously loud or rambunctious. Plus we were on the go enjoying beautiful Sedona most of the time.

Great place but beware…

Definitely would recommend this place however be mindful that even with the peaceful view and low key vibes this place allows children and for a peaceful weekend away this is not the place. Also be mindful service is not very good or maybe it was just our experience even for a “not peak season” visit I would have expected the service to be top notch. It is a centrally located hotel and easy access to all of the main spots. Their restaurant is stellar! We did enjoy our dinner on the property.
