I liked how it was super close to the beach and it was easily accessible. People were friendly. When we called the front desk, they were quick to send us additional towels each time. However, we will not be staying here again. There was a smell in the room, the sheets smelled, and housekeeping did not come by and clean. Their online menu for the outdoor bar does not reflect the menu at the restaurant, they have less items in reality. Overall 2/5 rating.

I love that every room has a little view to the water. Love the restaurant options. Love the service at the beach with food, drinks, umbrellas and towels. I wish the indoor pool was still there.

This resort was great. Restaurants in the hotel were such a convenient option. We had breakfast every morning in the Tide Room. Wonderful service and food. From the front desk to the bartenders and wait staff, everyone was beyond happy to offer a welcoming experience. We will definitely stay here every time we go to OCMD.

We stayed here at the last minute and we were pleasantly surprised. We will definitely consider this hotel for our next trip. The only thing lacking is a 2nd mirror in the room. It’s a necessity with multiple people getting ready

The property is very convenient. The staff is very polite and some the kids from Eastern Europe will go out of the way to help you. I really like everything about it. I think the drinks could be made better. They put so much ice in everything. Getting the umbrellas and chairs is a big help!!

Rooms are very nice, and spacious. Beds were comfortable. Loved the stand up shower with the rain head. Hotel and rooms were very clean and tastefully decorated. Staff were all very friendly. Would highly recommend.

Mix of things going on with this hotel. Overall, the stay was mostly enjoyable. Front staff was super courteous as well as the restaurant staff. They were super friendly and engaging. Rooms were ok. Not the cleanest perse, floors seemed like they used the same mop for each room without cleaning it in between as there were some hairs (yuck) still on the floor. Balcony was lack luster. Sure you could see the beach but it was small and no where to sit so not worth it in my opinion. We were out of the room from 8am-2.30pm and when I came up to put the baby down, the cleaning person hadn’t been to our room yet and it just never got cleaned. The pool was really gross. Bandaids, hair, sand and everything else floating around. I’ve been to other beach side pools that were much cleaner so I’m not sure what the cleaning system is they’re lacking. The close access to the beach was perfect! All of the cleanliness issues were made up for by the nice lobby and restaurant decor and the really good food. I don’t know if I’d stay here again. A cleaner pool and room would change that tho.

We really enjoyed our stay at Ashore Resort, it’s a beautiful place. The only downside for us was the cleanliness of the room. There were a few things left behind from previous guests, the shower grout was dirty, and overall it didn’t feel clean enough to be comfortable with our crawling baby. Parking was a little tricky, but understandable with how busy it was. Other than that, it was a great spot.

I think this resort is on its way to becoming must stay place in OC. Add more food options, convenience store options and it's perfect! The staff and amenities were awesome. I would love to come back!

We absolutely loved spending our 42nd anniversary at Ashore! It was a new to us OCMD hotel (and we’ve stayed at lots!) but it’s truly a hidden gem and we will definitely return! Our room was very clean and beautifully decorated, as was the entire resort. We had dessert and drinks at the Taproom which we really enjoyed. The outside pool hot tub decks corn hole fire pit and steps to the beach are wonderful amenities!! 5 stars

The staff was super friendly and went above and beyond to ensure we enjoyed our stay! The food was delicious; we ate breakfast, lunch, and dinner at the hotel. The private beach was a plus, with first-come, first-served beach chairs and towels. We will stay here again in the future!
