We were checked in at the Small desk on the 1st floor but the real lobby was on the 17th floor which we didn’t discover until the day after. We rented 2 Rooms, they were both underwhelming and Dated with a strange musty smell. There’s only 1 closet and no drawers to store your clothes. One Room was incredibly dusty, dust bunnies everywhere, AC wasn’t properly working so it was considerably warmer than the rest of the hotel. One of the lights was burnt out which we reported immediately, they said it was working after checking (the wrong light) so we just had a fairly dark room our entire stay. Toilet seat warmer wasn’t working but after the light fixture experience we didn’t bother mentioning it. The view outside the room was awful - a bunch of metal pipes ie the outdoor AC unit system. Housekeeping lady was very friendly and helpful. Hotel is in a great location, walking distance to Myeongdong shopping and Lotte department so if you’re just looking for somewhere to sleep and don’t care about a pleasant hotel experience, then it should be fine.

Roaches!!!

Decided to stay at this hotel given the proximity to Myeongdong street. Checked in and found room was much smaller than others we stayed at before. We found mulitple live roaches in a span of a couple of days and told front desk about it. They reached behind and gave me a can of roach spray suggesting it is a common problem. They also said someone would stop by for pest control which ended up being a worker who arrived with toilet paper and roach spray. What?!! Given the nature of roaches, we believed there were much more than what we saw and asked the front desk for a discount because we paid for a habitable room and not one with pests that impact human health. They declined to make it right, unfortunately. Would definitely NOT recommend if you care about sleeping with roaches.
