No glitz straight beach is how I can describe my stay. Amazing location, clean rooms, pharmacy not too far, and restaurants at walking distance. The owner Mike lives on the property so if you need anything just ask. The only thing that I think my room was missing was a few usb charging ports and an iron. If you’re tired, you’re mind is always running, and you just need a place to relax, this is definitely the hotel for you. Will recommend this hotel to friends and family.

Our stay at the Azure couldn't have been more perfect. Michael, Fawnette and team are the consummate hosts; always there to help keep your stay in SXM perfect. Our room, The Garden Suite, was wonderful! The morning view from our private patio was the perfect start to each day! With the kitchenette we were able to stay 'home' on Cruise Ship Day and avoid the crowds. When we return to SXM, we will definitely stay at the Azure again !!

Perfect bohemian guesthouse

This guest house is the perfect bohemian get away. It was very clean, ocean front, like 10 steps out the door to your beach chair. Great landscaping for privacy between units. Owner was super helpful, informative and responsive. Would love to stay here again.

I have traveled extensively to some of the finest hotels around the world. Relais & Chateau, Ritz, Mandarin ect. This small quaint hotel grabs your heart as soon as you pull up and see a stunning courtyard with tortoise sanctuary. The beach is beautiful right from the first moments on arrival. The owners that live onsite and are extremely helpfull for any request. I found out the're artist and its no surprise that this is an artist dream that is shared. Its not an expansive resort but for me its good to get away from the hustle. Casinos are nearby if you need that.. We'll definitely be back to this piece of nirvana.

The pictures of this property show a beautiful beach front location. The don’t describe the rooms that haven’t been updated since 1942 with ac and doors that don’t full close or absolutely no view. There is no safe parking. The manager was “off island” and no one could change our room. Expedia should be ashamed charging what they did for this hovel.

We had booked a room in the courtyard thinking we had booked a room facing the beach and when one became available 2 days after our arrival Michael offered it to us at no extra charge for the remainder of our 7 day stay. He was so kind and generous with his attention to making our vacation unforgettable. It was also obvious to us that their long-standing guests adore him and the property.
