We stayed here prior to flying out of Mpls Airport & also upon returning from our trip. The first room we had was extremely nice overall. We did have some issues with the main door closing all the way. But our biggest issue was that we had NO HOT WATER - the night we checked in or the next morning. The issue was mentioned to staff at check out. The 2nd nights’ stay was uneventful. Breakfast was really good. We were never told about complimentary drinks (which is written on outside of their shuttle). They did allow us to park & fly but it was spendy - $20/night.

Our kids kept finding trash everywhere, the AC never really seemed to work properly, the shower was run down and dirty. The breakfast was 5/5 and excellent, the staff was friendly and helpful. The blue line train located just outside the hotel was very convenient for checking out downtown Minneapolis and mall of America. If this place was $100 or less a night it would have gotten a better review but to pay double that for a dirty run down room was quite disappointing.

I really loved this property. There were a few flaws but through out the flaws I would still give this place 5+ stars. The ac was broken but they accommodated with a fan and the shuttle was late but they ordered a Lyft for us to get to the airport. They accommodated for the inconveniences which was greatly appreciated. The breakfast was so good and they have an omelette station. They serve hot breakfast eggs, bacon, sausages, pancakes, toast, and bagels. they have a restaurant on site and an indoor pool and jacuzzi that is open till 11pm. The staff is friendly and respectful. I have so much more positive things to say about this place, I would definitely recommend the embassy suites to all!

Like all Embassy Suites, this was a very nice hotel with a decent manager's reception & breakfast. The one complaint that we had was that the weekend breakfast didn't begin until 7:30 am. That was pretty late for many people (multiple youth baseball teams were in the hotel) & lots joined us in waiting in line to get food.
