We recently stayed at Ocean Mist and had a great experience—especially as a family with a toddler. The biggest selling point for us was the location: the hotel has their own private beach that was clean and calm beach, which made it incredibly easy to pop back and forth throughout the day for naps, snacks, or diaper changes. No long drives to worry about, which was a game changer with a little one. One thing we especially appreciated was the quiet atmosphere—even though the hotel is close to everything, it wasn't noisy at night, which meant better sleep for all of us. The staff was welcoming and accommodating, even giving extra towels and waters. There was also a grocery store and a restaurant nearby which made it easy for meals . Overall, I’d highly recommend this hotel for families traveling with toddlers. It’s convenient, clean, and thoughtfully equipped for young children, making for a low-stress beach vacation

Great location! However, the mattresses in our room should be replaced. There was a dip (hole) in the middle of both queen beds. They were very uncomfortable. The skylight didn’t close.

Solid choice

Reserving a property over the internet can be daunting - do the photos reflect the actual condition and appearance? is it really as neat as the photos show? Lots of unknowns. We were not disappointed. The property shows good maintenance, clean grounds, and it's right on the beach. And for a family of 5, it delivers rare space in the loft rooms. We were very satisfied.

The bed was a bit soft but worked out. Cooked often Shaw’s Food mart was good close, needed all kitchen utensils so bring everything with you, pots pans, silver, cups, glasses, storage, we donated ours to others staying there and leftover food.

Both nights the family above us let their kids run back and forth and jump off the beds. Front desk really didnt do anything to help us. Besides wanting to give us 10% off on our stay for both nights but since we booked through Expedia they couldn't help us.

This was a hidden gem, in a wonderful location. It exceeded our expectations. We stayed in a loft suite with an ocean view, and it was amazing. Having two balconies, on different levels, was something I didn't know I would love so much. This town was a 15 min drive into Hyannis, and close to so many restaurants. We would definitely stay there again.

Our loft room was beautiful with a high ceiling and large skylight. The hotel has its own private beach with an amazing view. We loved sitting on our second floor balcony. Only downside for us was the completely empty kitchenette (bring cookware, flatware, etc). The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. Everything was quite clean as well. We will go back again.

Great location on the beach, but had problems with cleanliness of room. First room had mold in shower caulk. Manager was very helpful and got us a new room. Had to pay for upgrade for better room, but had trouble with ants.

We stayed in the loft suite with "ocean view". The room was not what expected, similar to the photos but the ocean view was minimal. The actual view was the parking lot and pool with the ocean in the distance. The room was also smaller than the photos. Poorly designed in general. The walking space between the entrance and the bed was set up in a way that you could not walk through without turning sideways. Definitely not the legally required fire or evacuation clearance. More like, less than half that space. The bathroom was also akin to an airplane bathroom. You could not close the door without pressing your whole body against the opposite wall inside the bathroom or by standing inside the tub to close it. Forget trying to accommodate two people getting ready at the same time. The ventilation fan in the bathroom also did not work well, not effective in any way. The only mirror in the entire room is also only in the bathroom - so again, not good for a family, or even two people, to get ready The table took up most of the space in the kitchenette area, and had chairs that were much too big for the table it served and the room so, with two adults and two teenage children, we were constantly taking turns to move around the room. Seriously. Now, let's talk about the experience here. The room was clean, the furnishings (other than table) were well appointed and comfortable. If you are pillow picky, bring your own. Not enough space for my full review.
