Great staff!

The staff were excellent. We found the restaurant & service in the restaurant really top notch but the food rather pricey for us. I did not sleep well as the bed was a bit too hard for me but the pillows were good. Pity there is not enough parking for the guests resulting in us having to pay for parking on the street. On the whole it’s a lovely hotel.

The room was excellent but shower area could do with an anti slip mat also only enough tea bags for tea in the morning none for the evening .The Staff were excellent and helpfull,overall we enjoyed our stay.

The room was clean. Staff very helpful. Restaurant very pricey though. The food is of an excellent standard, but the portions are so small. The shower in the room is problematic. It doesn't drain away very well. I thought the water was going to overflow into the main room. It didn't, but it could be a future issue. Overall, my partner and I had a good stay though.

Pleasant room, nice view, staff were helpful. The Sunday roast dinner was fantastic. Really enjoyed our overnight stay and ability to have Southend seafront in walking distance.
