The room was amazing, the staff service was amazing, food was good at the buffet and Italian restaurant. I would just say the swim up pools as I stayed in 20-102 could use a heater as the sun does not heat the pool like the two big main ones. But then again I came in January so summertime maybe different.

Overall, the resort did not meet my expectations. Basic toiletries were limited to a shared shampoo and body wash, and securing reservations at the on-site restaurants was extremely difficult. That said, the evening entertainment was enjoyable.

wheelchair accessibility in rooms is nonexistent! toilet enclosure won't fit wheelchair. Had to use outside public toilet. buffet was WEAK. French restaurant best option. staff generally helpful but really need some training if hotel expects to get any mobility impaired clientele no accessibility to any beach. many areas could be upgraded easily extremely unhappy that i made reservation 10 months prior to arrival and had multiple conversations and emails with staff and neither handicapped room was made available and the only room in a building with an elevator was and additional $1000!

We really liked this hotel ,first the room was nice,clean and in good condition. Everything worked and nothing was broken. The hotel is built on a small mountain with many different levels. The food was good but there was not enough choices and somewhat repetitive. The dessert portions were much too big which led to waste. The staff were generally very polite and would ask you about your day. Getting a place at the beach was never a problem. The only thing was that a real pain was trying to get a reservation in one of their a la carte restaurants. Not the best system.

It was very disappointing that the rooms was so dusty and had a musty smell throughout the stay, the pillos had mildew on the case covering, the customer service was very forced and was not service with a smile as you would normally expect. I came with a wedding party with approximately 40 persons who shared smililar views. There was no reservations for restaurants available simply because we came in on the weekend, why isnt there an option to pre book as other reputable resorts offer? Staff refused a guest a glass if water because they were closing at 6 but it was 5.45. its safe to say neither my family or myself will attend this resort again. Unfortunately members of the greater public will hear about this experience not just from one dissatisfied customer but from the overall party by and large. Regards

We booked Diamond Club service but it is not worth it at this property. Although our butler team were lovely and friendly, management changed, limited and restricted the permitted services part way through our trip without explanation and adequate communication. In our first 4 days, our butlers were unable to secure any reservations at specialty restaurants. Butlers were not able to book reservations for the week although this was previously allowed, so we were often left without reservations. On arrival, the buffet had run out of food by 7:30 pm and a staff member stuck their ungloved finger in a hotdog and put it on my plate. No food was ever served hot, everything always arrived cold or tepid. We had reservations cancelled and most of the menu was unavailable. We were also seated for a 7:30 reservation at 9:30. New Year’s Eve, everything was an upsell and there wasn’t enough food. Most of the staff are super friendly but those that aren’t, have the bigger impact. One Diamond Club front desk employee was. consistently rude and unhelpful. We asked to speak to the resort manager several times and she never contacted us and avoided us for our entire stay. One of our rooms was damp and mouldy. One of our rooms had a leaking sink that was not repaired and couldn’t be used. We often didn’t get clean towels or soap even when we requested them. We had things stolen from our beach chairs. We will not stay at this Royalton again and do not recommend it to anyone.

The Royalton Resort Grenada markets itself as a “five-star” property, but what we experienced was barely three-star service at best, and that’s being generous. The problems started immediately with check-in, which took over four hours. Reception repeatedly told us our room would be “ready soon,” a claim they recycled for the entire four-hour wait. Not once did they offer transparency, alternatives, compensation, or even a sincere apology. We were left sitting in the lounge area the entire time, essentially forgotten, while being actively misled. For a resort that charges premium prices, this level of disorganization and disregard is unacceptable. When we finally reached our room, it was clear that “five-star” was just a marketing label. Amenities like soap, hair dryer, and shampoo were missing, the sofa bed was broken, and bathroom outlets did not function: basic issues that should never go unresolved in a luxury resort. These are not minor inconveniences; they are fundamental failures of maintenance and quality control. The dining experience was equally disappointing. Every restaurant, every night, had multiple menu items unavailable, regardless of whether we were the first or last seating. This was a consistent pattern, not bad luck. Even worse, the New Year’s Eve set menu did not match what was advertised, with dishes either altered or entirely absent. For a special-occasion menu at a luxury resort, this is both misleading and unprofessional. Adding insult to injury

The property is really nice and spacious. Food was ok, nothing spectacular. The management and some staff could benefit from on going trainings in Hospitality and efficiency. Other than that its clean, safe, close to the airport, a short distance to town. Great for solo travellers, couples and families.
