I am writing to express my disappointment with the service my wife and I experienced during our stay at the Royalton from October 17–20, 2025. The issues we encountered fell far below the standards expected of your brand. 1. Check-In Delays and Poor Communication Upon arriving at 8:30 a.m. on October 17, we were told our room would be ready in two hours. However, after multiple follow-ups, we were repeatedly misinformed and ultimately told to return at 3:00 p.m. The lack of accurate communication of the front desk staff were both unprofessional and frustrating. 2. Transportation Arrangement Failure On October 19, I arranged through the front desk for a 4:00 a.m. taxi and a 3:45 a.m. buggy on our departure day. Neither arrived. We had to carry our luggage ourselves, only to discover no taxi had been booked—leaving us stranded and anxious about missing our flight. This was a serious lapse in organization and guest care. 3. Delayed Release of Credit Card Hold Although I was told the credit card hold would be released within 24 hours of checkout, it was not cleared until November 4—over two weeks later—despite multiple follow-ups. This delay caused unnecessary inconvenience. These repeated service failures raise serious concerns about the professionalism and reliability of the Royalton brand. I respectfully request an explanation and appropriate action to address these issues.

Extremely disappointing experience. My flight was canceled, and when I notified the hotel, they still charged a no-show fee. Spent hours being redirected between the hotel and Marriott about adding a guest—each blaming the other and trying to charge an extra $400. Ended up rebooking through Expedia, which was cheaper, but the room was dirty, lights didn’t work, and the “all-inclusive” amenities were minimal (2 beers, 4 waters, 4 sodas). The staff was unhelpful and took no accountability. I would not stay here again.

My experience. I have mobility issues. While getting to the room upon check-in was fine, as i used the shuttle, waiting for the shuttle daily was tiring. Walking to dining room or beach area required me going down 2 levels, 27 stairs. I tried to bring everything with me one time cause I didn't want to make a second trip. I was not a fan of the food in the dining room. I happened to meet one of the chefs who said he'd make anything I wanted. I asked for roasted veggies, fried plantain and salmon. He sent it to my room. While the fish looked funny, it tasted ok. I was sick, vomiting and diarrhea for 2 and half days of a 7 day trip. Nurse wanted me to get an IV. I declined. When I could manage, I got some Pepto Bismal. Thank God I had brought some plantain chips and ginger tea with me. Upon my return and after many tests, my doctors advised that I obtained parasites either from the fish or the water. I must also mention, while the room was ok, it was not what i had requested. As I was traveling solo, I wanted 1 king. I received 2 queens and my room was an adjoining room. Evidently, the walls must be thin, as the couple next door were,...I'll say, very much in love. Thank God for earphones. I slept with them and music to drown out the nights activities next door. I had never visited my dad's land and I wanted to see Grenada. I will return but most likely, another hotel. This was a rough summer starting with this trip. I am only now starting to feel more like myself again.

The spa, beach amenities, and gym were amazing — the facilities and staff exceeded my expectations. The all-you-can-eat buffet was okay, and I especially loved the omelet station. However, some items like jelly and mimosas were unavailable upon request. Unfortunately, the hotel rooms were disappointing. Both rooms (15204 and 16203) had severe condensation and a musty odor. I reported the issue immediately after check-in, but the front desk ignored my complaint. On October 23rd, I contacted Expedia, who reached out to the resort. Only then were we moved to another room, which had the same problems. I have photos showing the condensation and mold. We stayed under these conditions since leaving Grenada wasn’t easy due to limited flights. I hope this helps future travelers make an informed decision.

When I booked, the room was listed as ocean view, but the reality didn’t match the online photos or expectations. My view overlooked the roof of another building, with the ocean visible only beyond that. The resort itself was quite dull — there was no music or daytime entertainment. If you’re looking for total peace and quiet with nothing much going on, this would be the place. However, if you’re looking for fun and energy, it’s definitely lacking, but he beach at the hotel was nice/relaxing The food was disappointing and repetitive. They served almost the same meals every day during my stay (Friday to Tuesday), and the presentation wasn’t appealing. Evening entertainment wasn’t much better — karaoke, trivia, and a fire-tossing act that quickly became repetitive. We ended up renting a car to explore and find some nightlife, but even off the resort, there wasn’t much excitement. The few clubs we found were underwhelming. That said, the island itself is beautiful — the natural scenery is stunning, even if the atmosphere is quiet. We visited Anse Beach and had a nice meal at a beachfront restaurant there. We also went to Annandale River, which was scenic though the water was quite cold. Junction and a couple of other popular clubs were just okay, but we did find one restaurant (I can’t recall the name) where the food was excellent — easily the best meal we had on the trip. One highlight was meeting a local coconut vendor whose warm personality and charisma truly stood out.

At check in, it took them 3.5 hours to give me a room. Then gave me the wrong room and had to go back to the lobby with my luggages and wait for another room. I finally got a room but the TV and phone wasn’t working so I had to call front desk. On the second day of my stay, the walls started having black dots which were mold and saw a leak on ceiling near the tv. The walls have been wet throughout my stay which made the floor get wet. Some of the staff were great but this is unacceptable. My worst experience with Royalton and to make it worse I came with a group of 33 people and some of them had issues with the room they paid for. Some of us had standard, ocean view and diamond club.

Report is nice but very spread out. Clean up took too long. There is no reason breakfast plates or any plates after dining once left outside on the floor by the door take 5 hours to get picked up. People should walk round every hour or 2 to collected the dirty plates and utensils. Room service took was to long. 2 to 3 hours. One time it took so long i forgot i even ordered. But food provided in the Diamond Club lounge was great.

My recent stay at the all-inclusive resort was disappointing. The food options were mostly American-based and of poor quality, with limited offerings that related the local island cuisine. This was particularly disappointing, as I was hoping to experience authentic dishes from the area. While most staff were pleasant, I did have a negative encounter in the dining area. I was asked to leave because I wasn't wearing a cover over my bathing suit-even though several other guest were dressed similarly and were not approached. I felt singled out, embarrassed and disrespected. To make matters worse, the staff members refused to serve me while I was eating. Overall, the experience did not meet the expectations I had for an all-inclusive resort, especially given the lack of authentic food and inconsistent treatment by some of the staff. I will NOT stay at this resort when I return to Grenada.

My room smelled of mold. Called front desk about. They did absolutely nothing. Spoke to Levron not sure I’m spelling his name right. The food was very disappointing same bland food everyday. Room service never had anything listed. The bar did not have premium liquor readily available. I stayed in a diamond club room. Had to ask and negotiate for things which suppose to be given. Grenada is beautiful but definitely won’t stay at Royalton again the worst experience at a resort.

I was placed in a room that had no view of anything . Upon checking in i was told i would get added benefits based on booking through expedia. That turned out not to be the case . I traveled for a conference at the hotel. On checking out the room i noticed there was no iron or steamer. This made it impossible to iron my business suit. I equested an iron and was told there was none available but they would iron four pieces of clothes complementary . I was told someone would collect the clothes but no one did. I attended the first day of the comference ij wrinkled clothing . I tried several times to use the phone only to discpver it did not work. The next morning i tried to make coffee and discovered the coffee maker did not work. I took a shower and only half of the rainfall shower head acrually ran water. I hated the location of the room as there was a hill at the front and at the back. I also did not feel like the room was properly cleaned as there was dust in the corner . The first day i got no lumch as the buffet ran out of food. I managed to survive on some slices of water melon. Day two was hardly better and they again ran out of food during lunch. The food was bland and not what would be expected of a place known for its spices . I paid more than the pther conference attendees by booking through expedia just for the benefits . There was no expedia champion as promised until the third day and he was useless. I managed to get a decent meal only after leaving th hotel.

The property was good and I love the access to the beacon.i did not have a room with view. I had a partial garden view obstructed my the roof. The the food was terrible lots of salt.

Room we booked was not available when we got there so had to stay in a different room our first evening. The property was very well maintained and clean. All the workers were polite and friendly. We were not fans of the buffet but were pleased with the offerings at the specialty restaurants.

The spa was really relaxing. The excursions team was very helpful and accommodating. The coffee shop was the best. Everything hit. There water sports was really really fun. I did kayaking, something with a sail boat and snorkeling.

The property was very clean. The the staff was very friendly. The food was good. The water on the beach was amazing. It's a great, I had a great time. No problems , what does staff or the beach order food.
