The walkout beachfront room is amazing. Building 15 was perfect location to everything and still right on the beach. Drinks were very good. We enjoyed the massage services and Royalton fit had many daily activities and classes and the gym was spotless. A very relaxed/quiet vibe.

1. Room was not ready at 3pm, we were sent to a beach bar in our sweaters, they were supposed to text when room was ready and no one texted. We wasted 1.5 hours until we went to front desk to ask about the room (and I paid for this room in advance). 2. Room coffee machine wasn’t working, called to fix no one helped 3. Been trying to order coffee from room service in the morning - takes 1 hour plus to deliver 4. Group of rowdy individuals been super loud and active from 2 to 4/5 am every night - unable to sleep 5. Fire detector has flashing lights that are super bright in the middle of the night 6. No one told us at checking that we need to make reservations for diners, so we missed making a reservation for the first night which was Friday. Saturday all specialty restaurants were closed and we ended up going into town and pay extra. 7. Took 1 whole day to replenish the mini bar with waters - we had to go to a bar to get drinking water. 8. Asked for iron and ironing board and was told that we can get clothes ironed complimentary, I asked it to be done within an hour because we needed that clothes for dinner reservations. We got this back 4 hours later and of course we had to wear something else to dinner which was very frustrating. 9. Food was so so , both my mom and I weren’t feeling great after eating

Had to ask multiple times to have my room cleaned. When they said they cleaned the room they didn’t they just fixed the bed and did not give clean sheets. My room was considerably hotter than the other rooms and I notified them and nothing was done. I requested an iron and ironing board and never received it. I asked for hand soap and never received it. My fridge did not get stocked for days. The spa was amazing and so was the beach and pool. I had an incident where the staff said I was not dressed “resort casual” wearing a crop top and long full coverage pants. I asked her to explain she said nevermind and let me in. I then saw women in bikinis allowed to come in without request to coverup.

Rooms, staff and amenities were excellent. Food quality at specialty restaurants ((Italian and french) was VERY POOR. At the french restaurant the food was so bad that we could not eat it at all and had to go to the buffet next door for lunch. Complete disappointment.

This resort was truly beautiful!! The staff was generally kind. Dontee, Dominique, & Joshua all greatly added to my experience along with many other staff. Unfortunately, Siobhan & Christine were not pleasant upon my arrival at the resort. I was very displeased with their service and lack of care to my room not being available at the 3pm check in time. However, Dontee jumped in and helped make the remainder of my experience pleasurable. Especially Dominique in assisting in coordinating my food options on and off the resort!
