This was definitely a unique hotel to stay in. The decor and art were so much fun, and I loved the curated music that was played throughout the hotel. The room was spacious and comfortable, and the location was close to everything. I also very much appreciated the small touches that the hotel did during turn-down service. What I thought needed more attention was housekeeping. For instance, the shower had a lot of black grime and mould on the grouting and shower corners, which made the shower quite unpleasant to stand in. Also, housekeeping was inconsistent. However, they did a nice job of responding to my requests to have the room serviced, once I was able to reach them. Back to the positives, the hotel restaurant, Exile, is superb and gorgeous. Finally, the doormen were so friendly and helpful at providing directions to various locations in town. To sum up, this is a beautiful hotel with lots of thought put into how to create a unique experience for guests. More attention needs to go into housekeeping.

It's a nice hotel with comfortable rooms. Unfortunately, I was given a different (smaller and cheaper) room than I had booked and the staff insisted the room was the same value as the one I booked so they wouldn't do anything about it. A random staff member also banged on our door in the middle of the night with no explanation which woke us up in a panic. Also found a used bandage in our bed upon arrival. Voiced these concerns to staff but was offered to make up for any of the troubles.

Stay was great, the staff from the time they opened the door for us, till the time we checked out were all very helpful, friendly, and overall seemed happy to be at their job. Only issus we came across was the toilet in our room was very wobbly. Which should be addressed.

This is a gorgeous, stylish upscale hotel that I did not expect as part of the Newfoundland scene. If you like music and a funky environment it is a must see/ stay. We loved it!

This hotel has a great location. The bed was comfortable. They really seem to like rock and roll music at this hotel - a lot (no big deal).

Close to downtown. No parking available, you have to walk about 5-10 mins to nearest public parking. The fire alarm was blasting when we arrived, so no elevators working, had to climb 6 floors worth of stairs with gear to reach our room... There were pyjamas from previous guest in bathroom. Otherwise clean and comfy with a decent view.

Great rock n roll themed hotel in downtown St. John's. Staff friendly, room clean and well appointed, bed comfy. Excellent meals at Zimmy's and also at Exile. Awesome theming throughout the hotel. Enjoyed the 8th floor lounge, Mojo's, too. Minor repairs needed in room, but despite bringing to the attention of front desk staff three times, the repairs were not done. We were told on checkout the items are under warranty from the contractor and in house staff could not do the repairs! If you encounter an unfixable problem, you may want to request a different room, our error for trusting what we were told time one and two.

Sleek modern hotel, well managed with attentive staff. Hotel has great location adjacent to Water Street and all the attractions. Breakfast at the hotel very busy, suggested to get reservations. New restaurant lounge in lobby was great, would recommend hotel to all.

Great location for walking, attractions and great restaurants and bars. The hotel is very clean, comfortable rooms and amenities were great! The gym is spacious, the pool, whirlpool and sauna were great! The Exile restaurant, bar and coffee shops were affordable and served great food. A majority of the staff were very friendly and helpful. Make sure you research the type of room you booked/reserved, we had booked a gallery room and were not impressed. There is no natural airflow, or access to outdoor light. The hotel was booked solid so could not change. Had we known, would not have stayed! Everything else was great and gives a subtle vibe of Vegas in St. John’s.
