We were there for a special reason, being that my husband had eye surgery that morning and had to return for a follow-up the next day. Meanwhile he was supposed to lie flat on his back for 3 days as part of his recuperation. Since: we had a long drive from Illinois, we didn't want to have to drive home and then turn around and drive back the next day, while he was supposed to be flat on his back in bed! So we decided to rent a nearby hotel room for that first day and night. Since check-in was 3:00 and we knew we would be done at the surgery center probably around 1:00, we called and asked Christine if we could possibly check in earlier. She was very accommodating and said that if she had a room ready, we could certainly check in early. Thank you Christine, you certainly made a stressful day a lot nicer! The hotel was very clean and attractive, the breakfast was great, and we totally enjoyed our stay as much as we could under the circumstances!

It was just me and my boyfriend. The overall stay was good. However, when we first arrived to our room, the floor was dirty, the trim was coming off, popcorn & hair was on the bed and under the pillows was a bug. We continued to inspect the room and found a bug in the shower as well, with the shower floor uncleaned as well. We took pictures and showed the front desk. They were shocked and gave us a different room for our stay. The second room was much better and cleaner. Overall the staff, breakfast, and area was good. Just a poor first room.

This hotel is a diamond!

This hotel is super special. Very comfortable, and the lobby area is updated. I enjoyed a lovely afternoon in the outdoor pool. It was amazing. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. The on demand coffee in the lobby is wonderful. The price was very affordable. Staff was friendly, but some were hard to understand, as English is obviously not their first language. The only improvement I might suggest is variation of breakfast offerings (both mornings we were there the choices were the same). But breakfast was great! Chocolate waffles!!! I really thought we were at a Drury Inn. The only thing missing was an afternoon kickback offering. : )

What ever you do please don’t stay at this hotel, I was just there on Aug 22, 2025 I originally paid for a 3 night stay, but once we got there the rooms were dirty and 1 room was full of ants, we were given 3 different rooms and all 3 was dirty! So we asked for a refund! We wasn’t even checked in for 1 hr, and most of that time was spent from going to room to room. The owner would only refund me for 2 nights, not the 1st night and we wasn’t even there for 1hr. BEWARE! The pictures on the website looks nothing like what we walked into and we were given 3 different rooms one full of ants all on the floor and coming from the wall which we took pictures of And showed the young lady at the front desk! I’m highly disappointed! In the lack of customer service that was provided! I will never recommend anyone to stay at this establishment! STAY THERE AT YOUR OWN RISK!
