Very dirty room

The carpet floor was so dirty. It had cat hair everywhere. On everything. The refrigerator was full of moldy food. It stunk terrible. In the bathroom there was a used disposable razor & nasty toiletpaper. The breakfast person was very nice and the man behind counter very nice. We had our 5 yr old granddaughter with us.

The room was significantly cleaner but the breakfast was of repurposed eggs from the previous day. It was like trying to eat foam balls and we got to the breakfast right at 7am!! The automatic pancake machine made more of a crepe than a pancake! Biscuits were good as well as the muffins! The gravy was more of a sausage batter mix than gravy. The orange juice was really good though.

Our bathroom needed a more thorough cleaning - I found a used piece of dental floss on the floor - gross. Also, the breakfast was fine, but it wasn't replenished - at 7:15, there were almost no scrambled eggs and no biscuits. There were no hotel staff around that I saw.

The outside of the property is not maintained at all. The bushes are overgrown, there are weeds, no grass, it looks kind of gross. The sign on one sign is faded and not welcoming. When I saw the building I regretted my decision to stay there. The room felt small, as well as the bathroom. The hallways had very low ceilings, I am short and could touch them. There was no shower curtain in our room. We were not sure if there was an ice machine because there was no bucket. When we found the ice machine it was so dirty and gross. The breakfast had limited options but was fine. There wasn't really anyone working in the area. I will not stay there again.

Poor management, great front desk

First, every front desk employee I interacted with was five star. Here’s where I was disappointed. The room, while comfortable, smelled of feet. I noticed used towels hanging on the back of the door, so I put ALL the towels together in the tub the next morning and asked the front desk to just start fresh on all towels. No one came by. The very kind front desk employee gave me fresh towels when I went downstairs to get them. I no longer pack body wash because all hotels have it. Not this one. Completely out hotel wide. They were also out of bottled water in their market place, and they were out of most beverages at breakfast. All of these are small things, but it seems like very poor management to have ALL of this happen in one visit.

Staff is friendly. Quiet area. Easy parking. No ice vendor working on the 4th floor. No ice buckets avaliable. Ran out of coffee cups on our 2nd day. Having to request Housekeeping than being standard is questionable.

This hotel was not clean. The elevator was dirty, the floor in the breakfast area sticky, the pool was unusable due to the murky water that clearly hadn't been treated in ages. The carpet in our room had pet hair and trash on it. The toiletries hadn't been refilled in ages and we were left with only a partial roll of toilet paper. We complained multiple times and after no action being taken decided to check out early.

We stayed in this hotel all of 2 minutes after walking past the broken door where anyone from the outside can enter and the disgusting, and I mean disgusting dirty room! Stains everywhere and BLOOD in the bathroom. And get this THEY CHARGED US for the room!!! Expedia did not help! Do NOT stay here! Avoid at all costs!

Zero service at front desk- we left!

We arrived to check in and when we walked into the lobby there were 5 people with luggage sitting on the floors. And another 6 people standing around with luggage. We were there over 10 minutes and not one employee was at the front desk. Not one guest was checked in during that time. Everyone was literally waiting for someone to come to the front desk. It was 9pm. After awhile we went across the parking lot to a different hotel and got a room. While we were checking in at the second hotel, a couple from the first hotel that had been waiting as well, showed up at the second hotel and booked a room there as well. I called hotels.com and they contacted the first hotel in an effort for me to get a refund. The hotel refused and said they checked everyone in but I doubt that because people were leaving because there was literally no one at the front desk. A side note- the outside of the hotel was extremely dark- no outside lights at all, and the overgrowth of grass and weeds was all the way around the building- it was trashy. This is NOT a 8.4 like the reviews reflect
