Phenomenal Breakfast

Pros: Breakfast was possibly the best I've seen at any hotel. Variety of hot options that changed each day. Delicious pastries and fresh fruit also. Served from 7-10am. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The pool was warm and open until midnight. The location is by a quiet neighborhood but still has easy access to 64 highway. Cons: Our bathroom was not fully cleaned as there was trash behind the toilet. The water in our sink smelled bad like it was pumped directly from the river. There was no exhaust fan so there were some places where the ceiling in the shower was peeling from too much moisture. Can't be good long term. The condition overall could use some refreshing. The double beds were spring mattresses which weren't especially comfortable and were squeaky. Overall if you can handle the down sides it's a great place to stay.

We arrived after traveling in bad storms to a hotel without power. They were very prepared and friendly despite the circumstances. Our room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was really good. I would recommend staying here.

We checked in at 3:34pm and the coffee was cold and some of the containers were empty. The person who checked us in wasn't very knowledgeable about some of the policies when I asked questions. The rooms are nice. We haved stayed here 3 times and will stay here again.

We are big fans of Hampton Inn, when we travel this is one of our preferred hotel brands. This location was no exception, they delivered what we have grown to expect of HI. But one thing,…they didn’t clean our room, they never replenished the towels, never emptied the waste baskets. I didn’t make a big thing of it but, it would’ve been nice to receive some new towels after a few day stay.
