The fellow on shif when we checked in was soooo accommodating to us when we arrived. We’re 2 seniors with about of luggage (extended vacation) and could tell we wouldn’t be able to do the stairs so he kindly found us a main floor room that exceeded our expectations. We really appreciated that. The Hotel was lovely! It was the 5th hotel for us in 10 days and is by far our favorite. The location was great as well - proximity to ships, buses and such. Nice setting on the river was a bonus. We will definitely recommend it and hope we can stay there again! Only complaint - our GPS in the car could never find the hotel no matter what name we used!!! Thanks for such an enjoyable experience. Susan & Richard Gough

The staff were awesome, we arrived at 7.30am after a long 30+ hour long flight and they were so accommodating. They stowed our luggage as our check-in wasn't until 3pm. I highly recommend! It was quiet and the staff are lovely.

Needed the room for overnight sleep. Booked the room for 3 adults through Expedia, but found out that even though it went through reservation was made, no room was available. The staff did their best to accommodate us for the night and were extremely supportive.

It was a beautiful spot along the Thames. Perfect for my morning run along the trail/river. Rooms were very comfortable. The bathroom was a little bit dirty, but nothing crazy. Highly recommend a stay here!

Was visiting Thorpe Park so got back to the room late and left when we were ready the next day. Nice hotel. Comfortable beds and room had both bath and shower.

The hotel name and it's entrance isn't well identifiable. The local trains cross regularly over the Thames River just outside the hotel making it quite noisy at night if you're trying to sleep. There were also a lot of stairs to climb and a maze of turns (it appears this is due to combining two buildings via a connecting hallway) that required climbing stairs up to get to the second floor, then climbing back down another half-dozen steps to access your room second floor room. For mid October, the room was cold and never warmed up. It was also necessary to ask for a "second" bath towel at the front desk for a room booked for two individuals.
