Great breakfast and very positive that they offer evening meals which were very good. A lot of noise if you have the window open, but when it is closed you don't hear anything. Expensive parking.

The hotel room was clean and ready, but a bit on the small side. Storage of luggage was a little short for a couple. Breakfast was a bit disappointing for selections. Staff was excellent- helpful, courteous and quick.

Too noisy to sleep.

Incredibly noisy location. No A/C or air circulation system at all (unlike Oslo Thon, no fans available either) so windows had to be open but the hardscape below—cement plaza with shops and restaurants—was loud with music, shouting, screaming, motorcycles, etc. plus on-going construction nearby began at 5 am! Should warn guests ahead and allow change to quieter location not far away.

All of the staff was very helpful and happy to take care of us. The breakfast was very nice with chefs preparing the food. A good variety to choices on the breakfast buffet. The lounge was a special perk. Everywhere in the hotel was clean and tidy. It is in a perfect location.

Breakfast was wonderful. Short walk to the train station and the old town as well as to the ferry for the fjord sightseeing tour. Very nice to walk around the area. Stavanger is a beautiful city

Hotel was near a lot of shops and restaurants . The hotel receptionist was very sweet and helpful. It is an older hotel that needs a lot of updates and modernization. Not the cleanest hotel - Our room vinyl floor was very sticky when walking barefoot and found a weird white sticky spot in the shower floor . We only spent none time so didn’t want to go to the trouble of getting a new room but wish I had it been cleaner . The best part was the very yummy breakfast buffet .

Christmas in Stavanger

We enjoyed our stay, and the very central location, with several restaurants, a new Irish pub, and the Christmas market metres away. Staff is extremely helpful and accommodating. The "julefrokost"was plentiful with a wide array of traditional Norwegian Christmas dishes. Our only complaint is that the food was on the cold side for our tastes, even when we showed up at opening time. We used the exercise room, and also enjoyed the second-floor lounge.

Great hotel - will definitely return!

Really great location and conveniently the airport bus stops outside too so easy to get from and to airport. Friendly and helpful reception staff, lovely room and generous sized bathroom (not always the case with other Thon hotels I’ve stayed in), good choice at breakfast too and lounge area to relax in the evening. Would not hesitate to stay here when I return
