Disliked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities, property conditions & facilities
The room’s bathroom was a work in progress. Barely had dry wall. Shower rod hanging out of the wall. Mold and dirt all over bathtub and shower and toilet. Holes throughout the little bit of dry wall there.
The pool which was advertised as an indoor heated pool was NOT heated. Nor was the room with the pool. Management claimed it is clearly advertised as a “cold pool” when the third party vendor description AND the property description directly on the Marriott site clearly stated “indoor heated pool “. In addition, the pool was filthy with debris floating in it and collections of dirt along the entire
Bottom.
When I asked to change rooms due to the condition of the bathroom, I was given the run around by the desk staff. When I then addressed the condition of the pool, I was given the line about advertised as a cold pool even as I showed him the website on my phone with the indoor heated pool posted and told that “amenities” didn’t need to be as advertised. Only safety features. Have never experienced such filth and bad customer service at a Springhill property, though it certainly leaves a bad taste in my mouth to consider future
