Great stay. Do not sleep on the breakfast buffet add on. Very worth it. Can’t beat this place for the price in Sterling from what I’ve seen so far. Only note is that the rooms get a bit toasty. It didn’t bother me too much and I think you can ask for a fan at front desk if you need.

Located on the University of Stirling campus and just a short distance from the Wallace monument. The breakfast (£13.50extra per person is good, including full Scottish breakfast).

Staff was friendly, professional and helpful. Unfortunately, only one member of staff was on shift during dinner time; it was fully booked and even though I had managed to reserve a table, the only person in charge was struggling with coping with all the customers. Few were turned out as there was no availability and I left after 20 minutes waiting at my table. Other than that, the room was clean, tidy and comfortable and the location was quiet and beautiful.

Ok as basic hotel. As part of university had a motel stopover feel rather than holiday hotel. Bit tired but ok if you manage to get a good value booking

This hotel is part of the university. It advertises a pool but you must walk to it(10 min). Children must be strong swimmers and only lane swim. We were not told to take towels so we had to walk back wet. Room was very warm, no fans available and windows opened only a crack. Lift was a far walk from rooms.

Perfect stay

Had a lovely 2 nights stay here clean room , bed was comfortable, room had everything we needed apart from air-conditioning but still manged to sleep with window open. Even got to see 2 different bagpipers playing at the hotel main entrance! Hotel staff was very friendly and room was quiet! Food was lovely and had a lovely breakfast before our long journey home. William wallace monument was a spectacular view from our window, highly recommended and would stay again.

This room was clean and tidy. The stuff was friendly. We didn’t have air fan in the room, but we requested it and it was given to as. Downstairs is a great bar and dinning place. Also if you have car you can drive to the town and take some take away or go to the shop. We liked this room. The only thing is very small tv. It’s more like a computer screen. BUT overall it was a great stay
