Yeh the heater and ac for the smoking room was broken , but I already knew that. I canceled my reservation and still haven’t received my full refund as per according to Daisy front desk in Manteca Motel six .. the refund was also acknowledged by hotels.com .. how long do I wait until I get it back ?

Room as outdated. There was mold in several places in the bathroom. Housekeeping was rather stingy with towels. Asked for a few extra towels as we had 4 people in our room, and was rudely told “give me what you want” meaning we had to give them the used ones and were only given the same in return. Forget about an extras for the other people in the room. Also saw a roach crawling on bathroom floor. And finally, we were staying for 2 days but we had to go back to registration to have our room key cards reactivated. No explanation other than “they work now”

The room was clean and maintained just fine. I appreciated that there is a microwave and fridge. I was very disappointed that I booked a two queen bed but they gave me a room with only one bed. They said they did not have any other rooms available which was very frustrating as now we didn’t have enough bed space for the number of people. Only options were to have someone sleep on the floor or find a hotel last minute which were all twice the price because it was now last minute. I understand the hotel might become full, but I do expect the number of beds that I reserved and prepaid for over a week ago, to be provided.

The room had mass cockroaches, hair all over counter top and toilet seat and on towels that were rolled and in shelf. And the microwave inside had been previous caught on fire and was charcoal burnt and not usable . I reported this all To front desk lady with in first 10 mins of checking in and she told me “I don’t know, I will call manager “ . No one contacted me or assisted. Disgusting and poor customer service .
