Very good

We were moved one day into our stay because they were unable to fix a broken blind that was supposed to block out an outside night light over a window that wouldn’t open or close properly. The apartment we were moved to had taps that couldn’t be turned off in the bathroom and a toilet that continued flushing after filling up. On both occasions the receptionist said they’d get someone to look at it but seemed generally unconcerned. There were no apologies when we checked out.
We enjoyed our stay at Strahan Village. We had a lovely room overlooking the water. The room was clean and had what we needed for our short stay. Staff were friendly. We would have ranked higher however there smelt like there were plumbing issues which needs attending to on the way to the room.

We were staying in the Waterfront Cottages. Rooms are surface clean and tidy. Cobwebs, spiders and dead insects throughout. Bathroom could do with a good clean, especially the shower (tiling - pink moulding). Could not open windows for fresh air due to the sewerage stench looming from carpark and neighbouring cottages/resturants. Overall, average stay.
Upon check in we upgraded to a king and the guy didn't know how to change that in the system w/out us having to cancel through hotels.com. Fortunately, his colleague was able to help. We were offered a 20% discount off of the hotel restaurant View 42, but when we tried to take advantage of it, no one knew what we were talking about.
Hotel room very comfortable. Needs ice machines on each floor. View spectacular.
Very small room. No facilities for eating in. No space or surface for making tea and coffee safely. Kettle, mugs etc in a compartment space beneath what what should have been a clear area for safely boiling a kettle. No housekeeping for a 2 night stay, no cushions, slippy and dangeroud shower surface had to request shower mat. Would not stay here again.
Our room up on the hill at the back of the property was a basic motel style room. I was really disappointed that the restaurant was not open as it was a short walk across the carpark and we had heard it was a good place to eat. We did have a drink in the lounge area and the view was lovely. We really appreciated the access to parking near reception. As an older couple the stair access was not suitable. Very central to town centre and attractions.
The room conditions were okay but outside definitely needed some attention. We had a room at the top behind reception with a lovely view and double doors onto a small patio. This was really nice but the lawn was overgrown and weeds were everywhere including the small garden on our patio. This really downgraded the outlook.
Location was beautiful. Room has a real musty smell and on the bottom floor so you can hear people walking around in their room upstairs. They were walking around late and then up early.
