This property is beautiful! The pictures don’t do it justice. I like that it was quiet. It isn’t near downtown Izamal but cabs are cheap about 250 pesos. Only 10 bedrooms available. My two complaints dinner was very slow. Took over an hour. I wish they would have brought our appetizer and drinks first but they brought everything at once. Second complaint there is only outdoor eating unless you decide to eat in your room in the dining area there were a lot of flies. I understand we were outdoors but it drove me crazy. But seriously don’t let that stop you from going that’s how beautiful this place is!

Friendliness of property manager

When we arrived at San Antonio Millet, we were amazed by the impressive sights of the hacienda (and the fact that we were the only guests for the entire time of our visit). The photos on the site do not do justice to the beauty of the property. The hacienda has been perfectly restored to the period making a stay there almost like a travel back in time. The personnel is composed of people who are locals of the small village around the hacienda, and who have been working there for years. It felt like we had come to family, as they treated us as such. We had long conversations with Angel and Jesús, the ladies who took care of our breakfasts and keeping our room were lovely to us. We had incredible breakfasts that changed every day and were prepared with skills and care. We enjoyed the gardens, the pools and the property with its incredible surroundings. There are bikes available, TV's in the living areas, a huge recreation room, all surrounded by the sounds of the rain forest. The bathroom adjacent to our room is indescribable, with Ferregamo amennities and plenty of fresh towels every day. Every need (such as insect-spray) is anticipated. I recommend this hacienda amply and consider this place and its keepers as responsible for one of the most remarkable experiences I have had in over 30 years of travels around the world. Thank you! Everything about this center is amazing! The rooms the grounds were healing and a true off the grid experience. Tha staff was the best, alway attentive and ensuring I was enjoying myself. I can’t recommend this getaway enough!

This property is very nice, the bedrooms are beautiful and the pool area lovely and very clean all round. We found there wasn’t much to do/see compared to other hacienda properties we’ve been to. No complaints on food or staff either, food was very good and excellent service staff. Just not a place we would return to for the price it costs.

I loved it, very clean, the staff was super friendly and the food was delicious. Definently coming back.
