The staff was great. Every individual I interacted with was the definition of southern hospitality. The valet service was quick, Jimmy and Mark were friendly and had my car waiting for me during check-out out before I made it back downstairs, so no waiting around wasting time. The front desk staff (Debbie and Nicole) were friendly and the check-in and check-out process was quick. I had an issue with my valet charges during check-out, (most likely a computer booking issue between Expedia and the hotel) the manager on duty Chris was able to correct the issue quickly and without any problems. If I ever find myself back in Charleston the Emeline with be my first choice of hotels to stay again.

We are locals who stayed for a staycation for my birthday. Everything about Charleston Place is five star but the thing that sets this hotel apart is the service. Charleston is a friendly and polite city and everyone we encountered at the hotel was very professional but also warm and friendly. True Charleston hospitality. The restaurant is superb and the spa is great.

Beautiful central location with almost limitless options and amenities! We were so pleased and hope to be back!

I liked just about everything. I didn't like the fact that the employees were hispanic and didn't speak english and one employee yelled at me for not being able to speak spanish
