This property is about 15 minutes away from downtown Sedona. We found it perfect for what we needed. Nice kitchen, free laundry, pool was just steps from our suite. We walked from our place to hike Bell Rock.

We stayed in the Powel part of the lodge which are rooms setup in motel fashion. Our room has a bathroom with tub/shower. The room was nice and clean. There’s no TV (which who cares) and the rooms are tightly packed so sounds could be an issue. The only thing that I could say needed fixing is the curtains. I had a hard time getting them to overlap when closing so I could have privacy.
This allowed us to stay inside the Grand Canyon and have a view of the canyon 20 feet away. We were in a cabin and it was fine. Initially made a reservation through the official Park system site and that did not go well. After discovering, days before my trip, we actually didn’t have a room. I went onto hotels.com and found the room and it was confirmed immediately.
Bright Angle Lodge cabin rooms were spacious and comfortable, only issue is that you could hear people in the adjoining room talking etc, as they were interconnecting rooms. Other than that would definitely stay again as it was so convenient.

What can you say about the canyon? It’s Grand. Lots of people from all over the world seeing the sights. I have only this one negative about the cabin at Bright Angel Lodge. Old style rustic cabin construction means you will hear a pin drop in the other unit. These are duplex units. The park staff and everyone working at BAL were wonderful. Had a great stay.

Good stay
Great stay - comfortable and clean. Card key was hard to use, the door would not open on the first time. Hot cups were not provided for the room coffee maker and not enough caffeinated coffee. We had to got the service desk who provided the hot cups, but they didn't have the coffee.
Easy easy easy check in. Got here at 2 o’clock, the room was ready. Housekeeping staff very pleasant and helpful. Really a nice place. Just had a wonderful dinner at the Arizona steakhouse.

Confort for a night
It was a good place to spend the night. However the bathroom was small
Truly enjoyed our stay in a cabin at Bright Angel Lodge. Ours was exactly as described. Small but efficient with no wasted space. Very clean and perfectly comfortable. We were not bothered by the lack of air conditioning since it was cold during our visit. In fact, we really appreciated the heater in the bathroom. Loved the bathroom products (which of course, were on sale in the gift shop.) We were a 2-minute walk to the Bright Angel Trailhead, a 2-minute walk to the main building with the Harvey House Cafe and the Arizona Steakhouse, and a 7 minute walk to Maswik Lodge where we ate at the Pizza Pub. All of our dining experiences were great. Will certainly return on a future visit.
I really loved that I could walk out of my cabin and then see the grandiose view of the Grand Canyon a few feet from my door. There were many places to eat here. The female elk were plentiful and very photogenic. It was wonderful to meet so many different people from all parts of the world. Everyone was extremely friendly. Best part was coming off the day long hike down and up the canyon and just having to walk approximately 100 ft to my cabin from trail head.
