The location of this hotel is excellent, but unfortunately the property is very outdated. The lifts are unreliable, and the rooms and bathrooms are in need of refurbishment. Our TV wasn’t working during our stay, and there was no maintenance staff available on the weekend to fix it. For a hotel of this standard, having maintenance support available at all times should be expected.

We appreciate the location and loved the set up of our room and place to stow luggage above the drawers. The view was amazing. This is our hotel of choice when coming to the Sydney. The staff was extremely helpful especially the front desk ladies on Thursday and Friday. We also were grateful for the gym passes for anytime fitness within 10-15 min walk. Looking forward to our next stay.

You can hear all the noises from the street which is not so great in the middle of the night especially with kids. But the hotel is in a great location and staff are friendly. Kids loved the rooftop pool

Decent Stay, but Some Inconveniences

Stayed during the marathon week so price was very high. The hotel only provided small bottles of shampoo and soap, and on one of the days the housekeeper didn’t replace them, which was inconvenient. My room was located one floor down from the lift, accessible only by stairs, which made it difficult to manage with a big and heavy suitcase. On the positive side, the location is very good and quite central, making it easy to get around.

Good location. Competitive price.

Clean and comfortable room. Comfy bed. Not keen on showers over bath as always a bit dicey for seniors getting in and out. Efficient and friendly desk service. Offers the basic cereals and cooked English breakfast for a reasonable price. Happily stay again as in a good location for cruise terminal and Opera House performances.

Excellent location to Circular Quay, easily walkable, right next to the cruise terminal, dining options nearby. The hotel bar isn't open Sun - Tues and the restaurant is only open (Thu - Sat?) unless you want their breakfast buffet but we found other places to go. Anyway, that was the one disappointing thing. We'd definitely consider this hotel as an option if we returned to Sydney.

We came to Sydney for the Marathon. Incredible experience. The staff at the hotel looked after us so well. We enjoyed every aspect of the hotel. The roof top pool is out of this world.

Good location in The Rocks, but overpriced. No option to amend room to walk in shower when required as they say they don’t have any (website says different), no VIP room upgrade offered (not even any acknowledgment) and was unable to use the $25 food & beverage credit (which I had to ask about) as their bar does not open on Sunday or Mondays. I could’ve used it for breakfast, but that doesn’t start until 7am by which time I had left. Very disappointed that the $$$ does not match the quality or service it should.
