My stay was okay but the building is not mainrained propwely. The walls in the rooms have holes with cement popped open. The rooms are not maintained and has cracks that was incomfortable . The room was dusty and had not been cleaned porperly. The bedsheet and the cover also felt like they had dust on them and it was quite itchy until i fell asleep. The balcony was left unattended and has piles of dust. I did not make a lot of issue as i was there only for a night. But it needs a lot of maintainence and more careful inspection as the dust and the problems of cracks will cause an issue later.

All the comforts of home in a historic building

It definitely doesnt look like your average hotel! Its an old building with lots of charm. The reception is nice and welcoming. The staff were very nice. There is a heated lap pool, hot tub, sauna and gym. Once you get into the lift and to your floor, youre greeted with an amazing historic building. Remnants of the old wool factory are all around. As you enter the room, there was a fully functional kitchen to my left with everything you could possibly need. Then an open lounge room, with a fold out (already made) bed, laundry room, and a whole lounge and dining area. You had access to wifi and Foxtel. Downside, the tv had blown speaker's so the volume couldn't have the tv loud. Downstairs, 2 bedrooms (2 beds and 1 king bed) and 2 full bathrooms with ample storage space. The hotel room is a bit dated, especially the furniture. The walls could use a fresh coat of paint and some of the tiles had cracks in it, but all in all, it was a great place to stay. Across from a railway line, but you cant hear too much noise from thr 5th floor we were on.Walking distance from Darling Harbour and other areas. My trip overall was great and I would stay there again.

Untidy stay

Unit did not reflect what was advertised, the front of my unit had rubbish sitting in my way for 2 days, and when I opened the curtains I only got a view of a very dirty and messy lane with scattered rubbish.

This property is always a great place to stay when in Darling Harbour with the best location, great amenities and large spacious rooms, its a little worn but clean. My rating reflects the poor communication from Wotif to Oaks Goldsborough who had no record of my booking but went above and beyond to help remedy the situation and our booking was sorted.

Business trip.

I have often stayed here and this time was ok too. However the kitchen floor was dirty/sticky, all the crockery and cutlery had to be washed before use as they had obviously been put away without being washed (scary). 2 bedrooms for 2 people and one bedroom had 2 single beds instead of a double or single so obviously no preparation even though booked around 8 months out from stay. The stove didn't work after the second day so we had to throw out good food. Shame.
