Basic but clean and spacious room. Was a little cold initially but soon warmed up with the heating although this was a little noisy! Staff were pleasant and helpful, breakfast was OK, usual basic choice but adequate.
Tge matress was in need of turning as their was a dip in the middle, a shame that the ventilation system in the shower room/ toilet did not work
But overall very good
Everything was very good , from the staff to the breakfast. The only thing was you needed more plugs , only one in the room I had . But that was ok as I was only there one night . Will stay again when I’m in Taunton.

TV remote didn’t work - had to go and get new batteries. Then discovered WiFi not working. Went back down to reception, only to be told there was nothing they could do about it. Unfortunately, this hotel is going down every time we stay at it. At least the heating was working this time. Last time we had to get an electric heater from reception because the heating was not working.
The front desk staff were cheerful, friendly, helpful and professional. The room was spacious and clean with a desk, hair drier, iron and even a folding baby changing unit. Breakfast - included in the room price - was excellent.
My room was not made up when i arrived. This was resolved and i was moved quickly to a room opposite. This was at back of hotel. Unfortunately there was a loud workman outside cutting and banging from 9 till 10pm. I was then woken at midnight by the same workman banging again. Then at 6am i was woken again by loud talking. Terrible sleep. Breakfast was also poor with croissants and muffins missing and dried out bacon. Parking was easy to find and shared with Harvester next door.
