The location of the restaurant serving breakfast in relation to the permitted seating with a dog was very inconvenient, The tables are not set up so absolutely everything has to be trundled from the restaurant though reception and the lounge to sit at a table in a corridor whilst families walk past with their suitcases, children, dogs and possessions heading to reception to check out. |So whilst the hotel says its pets friendly, - it is not pet inclusive. I would not recommend anyone with a dog stay there unless they are happy for the dog to remain in their room.

Great for kids, friendly staff, illogical queuing.

Lots of activities for kids, swimming pool and leisure staff were amazing. Other staff were friendly but some of the systems were silly. Seating and setting tables 1 by 1 by 1 person caused an unnecessary wait when you have already booked breakfast. One coffee machine. Queue for juice etc. Dinner 1st night was told go to the bar ot will be fine, got there no seats, walking round and round no help, just me and my daughter, eventually another family let us sit with them, then the person bringing food i asked about sauces and he just said over there and walked away so i had to leave my 7 year old alone with strangers while i got them and when i ordered. 2nd night decided to book dinner, buffet only, buffet was terrible, pizza tasted like cardboard, eventually found something that tasted ok but not great quality for the price. Coffee bar was brilliant. Pool was brilliant. Arcades were great. Room was basic but ok. Fun house brilliant. Closing the pool so soon after checking out was a pain but the lovely receptionist gave us passes to the fun house which was very nice. Overall a great place for a family stay and if you sort out your illogical love of queueing for dining it would be even better.

Staff were helpful, however on arrival the car parks were full including the overflow. The room was clean enough but definitely dated. Tv only had two channels available. Bed was ok. Won’t come use this place again. This place is good for family’s or very young couples but not for us.

I have never stayed in a hotel which took 2.5 hours to check it. I checked in at six, by the time i managed to get aroom but the restaurant closed ! It was beyond a joke ...

The bed was not comfortable. The staff always seemed to be harassed, the atmosphere in the main bar was was more like at airport departure lounge, it did not feel relaxed. The hotel also has a no cash policy.

Long wait to check in, lots of trying to upsell you breakfast and dinner, lots of rules that you can’t eat and drink your own food in communal areas, staff friendly enough but lots of jobsworths. Bit of a palava getting into swimming pool.. great range of activities and things to do for kids, again some very run down, food is plentiful but not much variety. 6/10

Lovely hotel, check in took nearly an hour. Unsure why it takes so long, but everyday there were long queues of people at check in. Food was good, room was clean and comfortable. Pool was well maintained and clean changing facilities. Staff were lovely who we came across. They just seemed short staffed in areas of hotel which let hotel down a bit as long wait times at times for food, drinks etc, due to only one staff member being on bar etc. lovely hotel overall, would visit again, just what you needed as a family.

Queue to check in was ridiculous even though they ask you to check in online 2 days before arriving. Stayed in a 2 double bed room in the main part of hotel, was very clean. The beds and pillows aren’t very comfy so didn’t sleep well. The facilities are great for kids. My son loved the soft play and mini golf.

Breakfast was good, pizza in the wood shed was good, tenants lager was flat but the porretti was nice. Rooms are needing a freshen up but overall the hotels nice overall. The girls in the fun house were great with our little girl.

Pet friendly. Tired looking hotel with threadbare carpets. Check in took over 45 minutes. Massive queue. Pool and gym looked good. Bar area was comfortable. Didn’t eat in the hotel due to reviews we’d read. Taxi into Aviemore and back was inexpensive.
