Disliked: Cleanliness, amenities, property conditions & facilities
Our room #147 was noisy all night long, right nextdoor to the boiler room. Worse than that, it was clearly neglected with its black moldy grout and peeling paint in the bathroom. We couldn’t even wash our hands upon arrival with both soap dispensers completely empty.
The next morning, when I expressed these concerns to the new General Manager, “Alfonso”he asked me to wait and tell his housekeeping manager. I showed him pictures and explained the problems with this room, which I did. Then, he apologized for the oversights and offered to deposit some reward points into my Best Western account. I accepted his offer and felt a little better about our situation but…. he didn’t follow through with that either.
We felt taken in by the misleading photos of the nice, clean rooms advertised on line which did NOT reflect the reality of the run-down room we were given.
Note: The friendly servers in the breakfast area were the only bright spot in our experience.
