the main area in front of check-in is also the breakfast area; perhaps the most visible and frequented area of the entire property. yet, the condition of the chairs in this area is atrocious. I cringe when in that area. if this were an actual restaurant, it would not have a positive profit/loss sheet. ever.

Dog friendly room location on first floor right by the outside door. Very convenient . The bed was not comfortable and the pillows were lumpy. The air conditioning was set at 62 when we arrived which is too cold but wouldn’t adjust. I just turned on the heat and that was ok.

Pool was nice and beds were clean. Breakfast wasn’t good. Eggs were green and didn’t have fruit except apples. One kind of yogurt. No pastry’s and almost out.l of everything but apples and yogurt. We didn’t eat anything but yogurt. Room was vacuumed and beds clean but walls dirty and splattered with something. The bathroom needs updated toilet sink and bath all looked dirty but probably just old. Ice bucket had weird garbage lid that was filthy. Overall ok but not like most La Quinta’s.

When I check, I specifically asked about noise. I was told the hotel wasn't that busy, but the clerk STILL blindly gave us a room next to the pool, where unattended children were impolite, obnoxiously running around without shoes, families loudly drank and yelled for nearly 6 hours straight until I called the front desk to complain and let them know I had to have surgery in the morning and need my sleep. The room was not great; Wi-Fi/service was glitchy; it'll freeze up (when you're watching a show/movie) for a few seconds and then recover, couldn't use any of my streaming apps on Wi-Fi because it was very weak and unreliable, the duvet was crunchy, hard almost crunchy(no fabric softener was used), the mattress was hard and uncomfortable, one chair had a cigarette burn hole on the armchair, when the air conditioner kicked on it was loud and dusty and it would have been nice to see updated fixtures in the room that contained USB ports, not on device attached to a desk. Outdated furniture that had scratches, nicks and chips in the surfaces. For $100, it was all insulting. NEVER AGAIN 😠

Most everything was good. There was a problem about a side door keypad not working I reported it to staff, and it was never fixed. In room 110 in the bathroom a piece of floor molding is attached with wood screws and the screw heads are not flat but sticking out. Also, in bath above shower head it appears to be the start of black spots..
